There are two respawn points. One at 48,20 and one at 48,28. I know this because I saw her at 48,20 but Horde got to her first, so I headed south to 48,28 and got her respawn there.

Here's a tip.

[pad]
/target Bhag'Thera
[pad]

Just put that into a macro and head to the area between ZG entrance and the ogre mound.&nbsp Just click it occasionally.&nbsp Eventually it'll target her.&nbsp If you have a pet (Warlock, Hunter) then you can just tell your pet to attack, and then simply follow it to the location of the mob.

I use this whenever I have trouble finding someone and it just blows my mind that nobody else suggests or uses this.

Good luck.

This is definitely not a 2 hour respawn. He literally spawns in the range that is on the thottbot map.

We camped 49,20 for about 90 mins, then got a hunter in our group, and found him much south of there, immediately (south of ogre camp, across the tree bridge).

Some one killed him as we were travelling to him, our hunter found him again near 49,20 about 5 minutes later.

So again, not a 2 hour respawn. My advice if you're having trouble locating him is to find a hunter for your group so they can track beast.

On your mini-map, head due east of the Venture Co. Camp and a little bit to the south. He will be the only panther that is not cloaked. (If you start running into shadowmaw panthers, you're close).

I can verify that Bhag'thera respawns at 48,28. It's right behind an Ogre encampment usually there with a Tigress.

Finally found him/her at 48,20 just on the north side of the small hill at that loc.

Been looking to finish this one for two weeks but could never find the beast on track. There were 3-4 regular stranglethorn tigers (lvl 36-38) near him and a couple of lvl 36 shadowmaws also, but none of them aggroed or moved to assist.

Looted the Fang, skinned the body and ran for the camp to turn it in as a very happy hunter. Too bad they never adjusted the reward to account for the fact that 90% of us are already wearing better leg gear by the time we kill him (Hunters get Mail at lvl 40).

Found her at 47, 28. She's been nerfed to a standard level 40.

A tip for hunters: You'll find her quicker if you use your standard beast tracking. She isn't stealthed.

Would it be almost impossible for a 33 hunter and his 32 pet to defeat? I got through the other stuff pretty easy, exept the shadowmaws...they gave me some problems. It is a 40 elite right?

Here's a landmark-based description of how to find Bhag'thera: Explore the hills east of the main Venture Co. base camp, the one along the shores of Lake Nezhferiti. Start your hunt just north of the trail to the Mosh'Ogg ogre mound, and sweep north as far as the road to the Gurubashi city.

If you have a Hunter with the Flare skill, that will help with spotting and eliminating the stealthed panthers that also infest the area.

I wandered the area south of the tree bridge for about half an hour. No sign of the boss panther, then she was suddenly on my radar.

Respawned about about 48,28. There was a shadow panther with her. I hunter's marked the Boss and skirted around avoiding the panthers and tigers until she wandered almost to the tree bridge and was alone. Sent my pet in, let him get good and engaged and shot her full of arrows. Had to keep healing the pet but pet never lost aggro and when pet was healed I went back to shooting arrows.

Ran out of manna but cat slowly died as I kept shooting arrows.

Level 38 Hunter Elf with a good bow. Pet was fully fed of course, and was level 38 along with me. I ran out of manna healing my pet but otherwise it was pretty easy.

Solo, level 38 hunter and level 37 pet.

As Humar and I stood over the great cat's corpse, and I prepared to extract the fang, I was feeling rather proud of myself.

Then another panther unstealthed, and wacked me once and I died. Shoulda healed before going after that fang.

Using my 37 pally she was a good match but still pretty easy. The hard part was avoiding the ogres in the area while avoiding aggro from other shadowpaws as you attacked the elite.

If someone could argue on that, I would really like to know why you consider Bhag'thera better than even a simple jaguar.
A simple compare shows that their statistics are exactly the same, except Attack speed, which a simple jaguar reports 1.2 except of 1.5 and spirit which Bhag'thera reports 30 points higher that a simple swamp jaguar! Furthermore the listed DPS of A jaguar is 45.5 while Bhag'thera reports 36.4, althouhg their actuar DPS are exactly the same!

And the two beasts are exactly same lvl (41) and have a friendliness of 6...

Could someone be more specific?
