Description

Let's see how you handle this next challenge. There is a cagey breed of raptor out there. We call them Jungle Stalkers. They are far more difficult to track down and kill than the other breeds you've been trying your luck at. Kill 10 Jungle Stalkers and I'll tip you off to the best hunting yet.

The jungle stalkers can be found along the coastline, west of the arena.
The only other predator you need to worry about in the area is the occasional cold eye basilisk.
At level 41, they're both fairly easy to kill.

Just north of the arena you will find the stalkers lvl 40-43

I solo'd this mission as a 38 warrior got 500+ xp a kill and 2450 upon completion.

Solo'd as a lv 37 Warlock. The only time I was in danger of dying was when a lv 41 raptor spawned next to me and decided to make a meal out of me.

We found all our Stalkers for Raptor Mastery in The Cape of Stranglethorn Vale, north of the Gurubashi Arena and south of Grom'gol.

If your fighting these things, it helps to run into the water if you get overwelmed cause they wont be able to attack as they cant swim..but you cant hit them when in the water they evade every attack

just a note, if you're a female instead of "old chap" he'll say "fair lady."

These raptors are literally everywhere by the Gurabashi Arena. You cannot miss them. The only thing I would say is to bring bandages and/or food, because otherwise there is a lot of down time. The respawn on the raptors isn't terrible, so you won't get killed by respawns before you're ready, and there will always be enough for you to complete the quest.
