Bookie Herod

Find Bookie Herod's Records.

Description

If Kurzen knows Thorsen's secret, then we have a spy in our midst. We must determine how the secret was leaked!

Thorsen's contact within Kurzen's camp was Bookie Herod. Herod is Kurzen's logistics officer and knows everything about the running of Kurzen's Compound. If you can get Herod's notes or records, maybe we can find out how Thorsen was discovered.

When we were still with Kurzen, Bookie's office was on the top floor of the camp's only two-story house. His records are probably still there.

This Quest is part of a series

Like previous posts state you can get the books from the outside.&nbsp Go to the back of the house and look at the cross beams sticking out.&nbsp If you get right up underneath the 2nd one from the left as you are looking at the house, and then look directly up, you should be able to get the gear to turn gold so you can loot.&nbsp

I only had to kill one guy wandering around out back.

its dumb... the medicine men are already hard enough as it is, let alone taking 2 on at a time..

Still seems to be working. There are 2 2-story buildings in the compound (technically there are 4, but the ruin shouldn't count. The critcal house is near the ruined tower and the back side is the side opposite the front door. You need to get right next to it to avoid the "You Are Too Far Away" error message.

I just confirmed that you do have to go inside the house to get the records.&nbsp I didn't check to see if you could get them from the first floor, though.

Works like a charm. 38 Feral Druid. Used prowl to get behind the house, got out of shapeshift, and finished quest. Simple as that.

&nbsp &nbsp Hello! I am a long time reader, first time poster. This is how I just did this. Like the post before, you don't have to go in ther building, just go behind and waha.
&nbsp &nbsp Although it can be a pain to kill the med. men if needed. Heres how I did it: First, you send your pet in(Most likely Voidwalker). Then you just cast your afflition spells. After that, you just pretty much use Mana Drain so they can't cure themselves. Make sure through the fight you keep your affliction spells up, and use Curse of Tongues to slow their cast time. These fights can be rather lengthy, but quiet effecient.

I think this was fixed in a patch. Ihave tried standing outside the house and nothing is showing up. I know I am at the right house because I explored while I was a ghost, just to make sure. But, I walked around the whole house and can not get the books to highlight.

I agree that this is good quest for leveling. If you happen to be rogue you will have it done in no time and the XP is very nice.

did this at lv 35 hunter.. not hard at all..

when your fighting 1 on 1 you fight until you see him healing then you do scatter shot to stop the healing then you can finsh him off, they usually do healing when they are around 200-300..

if its 2 on 1 then you sent your pet in take out of them, you grab 1 of the med man and pull him until hes far as your scatter shot can go, this way the one thats attacking you wont heal the one thats being attacked by your pet, he`ll just focus on you. you kill the other one focused on your pet and then yea , do the 1 on 1 strat again.

also for 2 on 1 you can go farther back and use con. shot but then it doesnt work as good as the scatter shot imho.

hope this helps anyone :)

I just want to say that the books are indeed in the UPPER level of a two story house but they are SMALL! You will be fighting one mob in the room in the back, look behind him near the wall on the right there will be a small stack of dark green books, they blend with the back wall so it's hard to see. Had me search for 15 minutes...

The object is upstairs in the two story house at the west end of Kurzon's camp. Mob downstairs that is annoying if soloing, but only a couple of individuals upstairs so that part is very easy. I sort of soloed it as 32 Rogue, but got help from friendly guys to chin the mob downstairs while I went up. As I said, sort of soloed lol...
