Cleanse the forest of 20 Rabid Thistle Bears and return to Tharnariun Treetender in Darkshore.

Description

As I had feared, the cure does not work.

It saddens me greatly to order the death of any of nature's beasts, but the sick and tainted thistle bears must be put down.

Return to the forest and destroy 20 rabid thistle bears, <name>. It will most certainly not put a stop to the plague but it will slow down the damage the animals are doing to our forest and its inhabitants for a short time.

start at /tloc 37,67 and work your way down, south-east towards the lake on the map from that location.

You will get tons of Rabid Thistle Bears lvl 13-14 ( you need 20 ) and you will see 3-4 Grizzled Bears too lvl 17.. work your way back from the lake to the starting point and you will have the requirements for Both Quests done!

i did this starting at lvl 13 ( had to log out) then finished at lvl 15.. both were easy for my Hunter w/ a Bear pet...

is a great spot. and the cliffspring river quest is also RIGHT there. good xp 90-110 at lvl 15-rouge. and the best thing about it is i got 4 green drops =D
