It is divided into three seperate parts that are not connected in a series. It is up to you which part you wanna do first, second, or last.

However, the usual approach is by easiest:
Part 1 (the easiest): Kill Ursangous the Bear.
Ursangous roams a small area slightly west of Talondeep Path among a bunch of other Ashenvale bears. He is lvl 24-25, named boss, not Elite, and is not very difficult to kill at that level.

Part 2 (slightly harder): Kill Shadumbra the Stalker.
Shadumbra is a cat who prowls around the small area south of Raynewood Retreat. She can be found among the Laughing Sisters nearest to the road. She is lvl 28, named, not Elite, and is extremely easy for her level. Less life/dmg than even Ursangous, just attacks faster so watch out if you are a caster.

Part 3 (the hardest): Kill Sharptalon the Hippogryph.
Sharptalon has the largest roaming area and he can be seen flying as close as right beside the entrance to Splintertree Post all the way to the bridge that leads to Warsong Lumber Camp. He is a hippogryph as it says, lvl 31, named, not Elite, and is relatively hard, but can be easily done at his level or even 2 levels below. Anything lower than that and you need a group.

Anonymous does not mention the reward for this quest as it really is not listed as a pure quest, just three seperate smaller quests. The reward is a cape that I can't seem to find on Anonymous (mispelled probably) but it has 22 AC, +2 Stamina, and Equip: +22 Attack Power when fighting Beasts. Also, there is massive exp involved in each. I handed all three in at same time as a lvl 29 Hunter and got well over 7000 xp. (1000+ for Ursangous, 2500+ for Shadumbra, and 3500+ for Sharptalon)

Ursangous at 40,47
Shadumbra at 57,56
Sharptalon at 71,70

After each kill right click on unique item and completed quest will generate.&nbsp Return to Senani Thunderheart at Splintertree Post, Ashenvale and hand in each quest

Ursangous 775xp
Shadumbra 2200xp
Sharptalon 2450xp

When all handed in Senai Thunderheart generates a new completed quest "The Hunt Completed" giving 3050xp and "Wildhunter Cloak", details are on Anonymoust.

Nice quest - my Druid didn't do this until lvl 32, but breezed through eezy-peezy in about 15 mins thanks to travel form...&nbsp More like this please Blizzard!

Alright, now that I finally put the pieces of the puzzle together, I'll share with those still clueless each step.

Step 1: Talk to either Bluff Runner Windstrider in Thunder Bluff or Warcaller Gorlach in Orgrimmar to start the quest. Both NPCs wander around the cities so run all around the pathways looking for them or wait on one main pathway for them to pass by.

Step 2: Fly to Splintertree Post and talk to Senani Thunderheart to complete the first part of the quest.

Step 3: Head West and kill Sharptalon once he reaches 72,70 by taking him down to 1/2 HP and luring him to the guard tower behind you to finish him off (if you're too weak to solo him). Obtain Sharptalon's Claw from his corpse.

Step 4: Head West to 44,63 and run around the area where the Bears are until you locate Ursangous. Kill him, loot Ursangous' Paw from his corpse.

Step 5: Head North to 55,51 and run around the area where you see Tigers until you locate Shadumbra. Kill him, loot Shadumbra's Head from his corpse.

Step 6: Head back to Splintertree Post and return all three looted items to Senani Thunderheart.

Hope this helps some people out!

Just finished as a 28 Warlock.

For all three quests:
Ursangous's Paw - 1950 xp
Shadumbra's Head - 2200 xp
Sharptalon's Claw - 2450 xp
The Hunt Completed - 3050 xp

Total: 9650 XP

Not bad for a few easy kills :)

Since it doesn't state yet from whom you get this quest this quest is given by Warcaller Gorlach, wandering around all over Orgrimmar.

The very first pick up is in Orgrimmar from Warcaller Gorlach. He wanders the path from the Drag to the Valley of Wisdom then to the Valley of Spirits and then to the Valley of Strength. He goes both directions on the path. For me, he did not have an exclamation over his head I just had to look for his name. You pick it up, then you go to Splintertree.

What did you have to do just before in order for him to give it to you?

I killed Isha Awak...

UPDATE: I had the Cosmos UI installed and after deleting my Interface, WTF, and Cache folders, the problem went away.&nbsp It may just have been a too old UI, or may be a current Cosmos bug... I'll update later.
-----------------------
PROBLEM: I talked to either Jorn or Gorlach some time ago and got the quest, then talked to Senani in Splintertree, to which she just offered advice on the 3 target mobs.

Now, several levels later I was ready to do the 3 quests, and succeeded in killing a couple of the beasts, but it would not let me loot the items needed.

You must right-click on each of the quest items to accept their individual quests. For instance, once u have obtained sharptalons claw, you must right-click it and it will bring up a quest log and u need to click accept.

I still dont understand how you get the quest...

Jorn, in camp Taraujo cant give it to me, and I have done all his quests including going to the coast to kill the sea monster (as said by other posters) but he still does not have a quest for me.

Also, I tried the method of killing the beasts first and then right-clicking on the items to bring up a quest log but they didn't drop the items. I killed sharptalon and he had nothing to loot.

So can someone tell me, exactly who did you speak to and where and when in order to GET this quest?

Senani Thunderheart is at the Splintertree Post in Ashenvale, like the quest says.
If you're in the barrens, you're going to have to go all the way up north into Ashenvale then east towards the post. For those of you who just hate reading and want coords, it's around 73,63 in&nbsp ASHENVALE !

Also, I'm guessing you can get the quest from 2 different NPC's since I got mine from John Skyseer.

Go north through the gate into Ashenvale. Ignore the branches until the road ends at the T. There you turn right.

You start this quest by talking to someone in the valley of wisdom, should be just to the left as you walk in - the quest is called Report to Splintertree Post.

Yes, I found him walking behind the bank in Org. and to complete take the road north out of Crossroads. Once you map moves to the north, the coords are 73,61. I did this by pure luck while working on " THE WARSONG REPORTS"

How do I get him to give me the quest. I talked to him and he does not offer the quest. I am level 27 so this shouldn't be a problem.
I already did the warsong reports if that is required.
