Description

The harvesting of precious gems is of utmost importance to our craft, <name>. Few gems are more precious than the citrine. The magical properties we imbue into our goods are amplified greatly by the presence of citrine.

For this lesson, we will fortify forty bars of mithril with four citrines. The result will be a better understanding of magical gemology and the knowledge to create ornate mithril shoulders.

Is this quest realy worth doing?
The rewards arent great and if you are a weapons smith like me you will need all the mithril youcan get you hands on.

Ok.&nbsp I have the 40 bars of Mithril and the 4 citrine.

I am sitting right next to Galvan.&nbsp The quest log says that i have completed it.&nbsp There is a yellow ? above his head and a yellow dot in the minimap.

And yet...when i talk to him it says i cannot complete the quest?

Have placed a GM ticket.&nbsp lets see what happens.

This quest will evenatlay lead you to gain a trinket that gives you a summoned epic hammer for a short period of time.

After that the quest leads you to Tanaris where you have to craft the items from the plans you got and you will get a trinket that makes you immune to fear for 30seconds

this is how it should work for the HORDE:

first go to ogrimmar, to the blacksmithing place in the back of valey of strenght (i think). when youre done with the expert-trainer, which should trian you up to lvl 225, someone at the forges outside should get a ! above its head. speek with him and he gives you a quest: you need to take a trinket to a dude in Booty Bay, very easy to find him, just take the boat from rachet, (u willl find him). than that guy will give you a new quest: you need to bring a mithril.... (something) to a guy which lives in STV, north of the ogre grounds (between the ogre grounds and somthing else, as writen in the quest). meet that guy and complete the quest, he will now give you those 3 quests, get the bars for him and he will give u ur stuff, as easy as that :P :D

start at IF and choose armousmith.&nbsp then go to SW and get qst in drawven district. then to BB. then to the ancient

I did all the other quests before and I can't get this quest. It's really annoying since the quests after him require you to make the shoulders he teaches you. I had to get a friend to make them for me.

It seems that 'The Art of the Imbue' quest is currently bugged. I did the quest, but didn't get the plans.
I opened a GM ticket and got confirmation.

Now seeking confirmation on official forums

I got quest this just today, but how do I get trinket? I've followed the quest chains, but I can't seem to find out how... Once I get 120 Mithril, 20ish Iron and some Citrine, however, I'll find out... Good luck to all you other blacksmiths out there.

It might be worth it . The "smithing hammer" is actually a hammer of expertise and it kicks ass if you have a character that can use 1h maces, such as a paladin or cleric. Otherwise forget this quest.

I can't get that quest, Galvan only gave me 2, and sent to tanaris after i completed those, but this is still missing. Does it have a prequest what has be done in order to get this?

First time I came to him I didn't see the quest, but when I returned with materials it was there. Only changes were me going from 40-41 and BS from 220-230.

Did this one this morning at lvl 50. 3900exp and pattern.

completing all of Galvans quest led to a short little do-nothing quest that gave 3900exp and a trinket that summons a rare smithing hammer that last for about an hour...I will try and send that info in next time im on.

Yeah I'm just gonna have to find a higher level armorsmith and ask him to make it for me. I have no idea what to do in order to get the plans.
