just abandon quest retake it then wait akes him about a min to make it he walks to the shed and such but i tried it and finally got it ...hope this helps those who are stuck

Summons a hammer of expertise?&nbsp It didn't do a damn thing noticeable for me.&nbsp What was it suppose to do?

I got the quest from Galvan to talk to Trenton, came and talked to him and he didn't give me jack! What's going on? Do i need to finish the 3 ornate mithril quests Trenton gives me first? I was under the assumption all i had to do was complete Galvan's chain and talk to Trenton to get the trinket :(

did all the quests where i had to deliver all that mithril and those other things for the plans. after that i got another guest and this one i accepted it and waited for him to make it after that i get i completed the quest the signet is a trinket
what it does is summoning a mace

hammer of expertise

the trinket takes about 3 hours to regenerade
so it kinda blows:D:D

if you cant get the signet just abandon quest and start again and wait till hes done making it

I did it in that order, but I presume that you have to complete all 4 of the BS quests in order for Galvan to give you the Expert Blacksmith! quest.

Where do i find this guy and what lvl does his quest reqire?

Is there anythign else that you have to do first in order to get the guy to give you the reward?

If someone, (a quest giver) has a gray "!" above there head, that means either, one, you have to complete a different quest to go on, or two, you arent a high enough level to begin it yet. if the person has a yellow "!" above their head go right ahead. if they have a yellow "?" above their head, they are awaiting your return, if they hav a gray "?" above their head, you r not finished with the quest yet. a green "!" means its a new FP (or Flight Path) that you hadnt yet discovered.

My Blacksmith is lvl 45, BS = 251, has completed all of the BS quest in STV, Got the Expert BS quest (it's the only BS quest left) but still Gavin will not talk to him. What else does he need to do?

Yes, this doesnt say that there is a prereq, but you have to do all the other armor quests inorder to get this...did it at lvl 50 and got 3900exp plus the trinket.

How do I find where items drop? I want the battlegear of Valor and willing to grind to get it. But I cannot figure out where to get the information so I don't look noob on the server.

Okay, I have all the plans, and Galvan gave me the quest "Expert Blacksmith!" but I cannot complete it. Galvan has a grey question mark over his head. What's up? There don't seem to be any completion requirements, but it's acting like I need to do or have something to finish it off.

Very frustrating.

Round yourself up about 300 mithril bars, 40 iron bars, 4 citrines and 5 true silver bars for this quest.

thats what it takes, you need to learn every ornate armor spell there is (unless someone else make it or buy it) in order to get both of those signets.

but in the end you gain a good bit of exp all together, I think its like a good 25,000 if you put everything together.

I finished this quest Yesterday, Took some time to Mine the mats but It's a Schweet Epic Weapon..It can only be use for 1 hour @ a time and has 3 hour cool down period.

Speak to Hank the Hammer is SW in Dwarven District. He's next to the Gal Vender by the Anvil.

Hank the Hammer starts the quest with you making 6 Golden bracers then send's you on your way to see Galvan with a trinket to give him. Galven will then give you 3 more quests to fill requirements for so get ready to Start Mining for Mithril!

once you get qall mats, Return to Galvan and watch the cinematic of Galvan making the piece and collect your Epic Weapon.

I made level 40 on Sunday evening (Early Monday morning really, you know how it goes...), logged, went to bed. When I got up, I logged on and went to Hank the Hammer to start the quest. I had 2 Golden Scale Bracers already that I had from grinding my skill earlier (and which had not sold on AH) so I made 4 more and got the insignia to give to the guy in Booty Bay who sent me to Galvan. Having my horse made getting to him easier though I still drew plenty of aggro from goblin geologists, tigers, and stealthed panthers. Outran most, but there was a stealthed panther standing right next to the campfire in Galvan's camp. Killed it (Galvan doesn't help. Nothing attacks him and he attacks nothing.), talked to Glavan and got the three quests.

I am a bit obsessive about mining every ore vein I come across (now I can resist copper and I won't fight more than 2 mobs unless it is silver/gold/mithril or better (I saw an iron deposit in the Growless Cave as I was running by, but I said "3 yetis for one deposit. Nope.")) so I already had a little over 120 mithril bars in the bank ("20-slot mining bag, I looove you!") and the 40 iron bars were no problem. The citrines I had gotten while collecting all the iron for my Green Iron armor. The Truesilver however took forever (I had gotten 2 bars from two different Solid Chests in the past (1 bar each chest) and I had found the rare Truesilver ore in the Yeti Cave in Hillsbrad Foothills). I suggest just buying the Truesilver Ore on the AH. There's almost always some on there for about 50 silver each (purists like me may insist on collecting it personally).

Took all this back to Galvan. Got about 3900 xp for turning in each quest (leveled to 41). Got the Ornate Mithril patterns and the quest to seek out his student in Gadgetzan. Also got the Signet of Expertise! Woot! I didn't think I would get that until the very end of the chain! I haven't used it yet. I am going after The named white tiger in the "Big Game Hunter" quest in STV, so I think I'll break it in there!

A quick check here at Anonymous showed me I will need to be 45 to accept the quests from Galvan's Finest Pupil (plus I will need to up my Blacksmithing to 230+ to make the items he wants for that quest), so I'm letting that cool on the back burner until I get up in level.

I really want that signet. How do I get this quest?
