Description

At last year's All-Valley Blacksmithing Championship, all those who watched saw my leg get swept from under me by a cowardly dog from the Venture Co. Foundry. What they didn't know, however, was the reason I was able to continue and ultimately win the tournament: That's right, ornate mithril boots!

I will need to learn how to craft ornate mithril pants for this year's tournament, however, as a Venture Co. shredder is an entrant! Teach me the way of the pants and learn the way of the boot!

My Warrior is doing exactly the same quests you are, at the moment his skill is 229, as he is learning from a Master Blacksmith in booty bay who will teach you Artisan status, and stuff to make to put your skill upwards of 275...

Also there is a dwarf in Stranglethorn vale who gives you 3 quests for the mithril order, which i presume you may have done at least 1 of if you are talking to the guy in gadgetzan, but i found that i was able to make all the of items, with exception of the mithril coif...

The other three pieces of Ornate Mithril plate are learned from this NPC:

Since you technically need his recipes to complete these quests, it's fair to call his quests a prereq.

Nevertheless, carefully consider the cost of all three quests in this line and check the AH for which path is cheaper (buying the armor vs making the armor yourself)

All told you need:

Mithril Coif x2
Ornate Mithril Shoulder
Heavy Mithril Breastplate x2
Ornate Mithril Gloves
Heavy Mithril Boots x2
Ornate Mithril Pants

To make all the armor yourself you need the total ingredients listed here:

Mithril Bar x106
Truesilver Bar x 3
Mageweave Cloth x 18
Thick Leather x 14
Solid Grinding Stone x 3

I strongly suggest you do the math for your realm's AH prices. Often it is significantly cheaper to buy the armor pieces than to make it yourself.

Go to BB and speak to the goblin blacksmith.&nbsp For 5G (I think,) he'll sell you artisan blacksmithing which will allow you to level beyond 225

I thought you learn this as a quest item in Tanaris

It says on another site that you have to go to Tanaris and talk to a quest agent from The Thorium Brotherhood.
