Did You Lose This?

Wait for Trenton to finish his work.

Watch Trenton Work

Description

You have done much for the Order, <name>. The sheer dedication it takes to get this far would have turned away any ordinary person. There is no doubt in my mind, or in the mind of Galvan, that you are one of us.

Which is why I think you deserve a little reward. It is nothing really, just a trinket. You may be familiar with its properties, as I do believe it is what brought you to us in the first place.

as far as i know, you do not need any rep, just to finish all of the quests given to you by Galvan the Ancient and Trenton Lighthammer.&nbsp After you are done with those (need to be a blacksmith)you get this...

I've been waiting almost 10 minutes.&nbsp How long is he supposed to take?

I just figured it out -- about 1 minute.&nbsp Something got mucked up and I abandoned the quest and the second time it happened almost right away.

In order to do this quest you need to do a series of other quest first. The starting quest for this chain is in Org by the Blacksmithing area. It then leads to STV for some more quests then finally to Tanaris for even more quests. All involving the Ornate Mithril set. After you complete Trenton's quest then this one is available.

Once you did the first quest for Gavan you can start building stuff for Trenton if you prefer that. Gavan will give you plans for Ornate items Trenton wants. And the other stuff you need for the Trenton quests you can get at the BS in Booty Bay.

And wasn't there another item by the Mithril order, you get somhow?

This trinket is godly for druids.

Finally I can take down hunters with out "fear beast" 8 times a fight :>
also gives me a 30 second window to kill any druid who tries to hibernate me :|

Cat Form FTW!

O' and if you think it's not usefull get trinket menu and have it auto-switch from the insignia to this trinket after the insignia is used.

The way to get this is long and hard.
I'm on the alliance saide, so here is the long alliance quests.
**PS**: U need to have completed the 2 low-lvl smithing quests in order to start this quest line. The 2 quests require a total of 160 copper bar, 14 weak flux, 12 linen cloth and 8 light leather.
1- talk to Hank the hammer in SW (at lvl 40 and lvl 210 BS). He gives u a quest to make 6 golden scale bracers. (material needed: 30 steel bars and 12 heavy gringind stones)
2- Then, he gives u a trinket that u have to give to the BS of BB, STV.
3- The BB BS will tell u to find Galvan in the jungles of STV. He is near Baghtera.
4- Galvan will give u 3 quests that require u to hand in mithril bars. (material needed: 120 mithril bars, 40 iron bars, 5 truesilver bars and 4 citrines)
5- After finishing the 3 quests, he will make u a trinket that summons an epic hammer for 1 hour.
6- Galvan will then send u to Gadgetzan, to trenton.
7- trenton will give u 3 new quests that require u to make ornate mithril items. (material needed: 114 mithril bars, 3 truesilver bars, 2 solid grinding stones, 14 thick leathers, 18 mageweave cloth and 1 aquamarine)
8- After handing in the items, he will make u the glimmering mithril insignia, a trinket that gives defense, resistanceand fear immunity.

I completed this at lvl 44, got only 7100 exp.
My guess would be faction is a factor...

Not that it matters, 100 exp aint much, but
you'd think at lower lvl one should generally
be better rewarded for completing a quest.

Any clues as to what faction matters in the case,
should probably benefit those going for it...

Peace out

this is an item you get for finishing most of the armorsmith quests. If anyone has started the armorsmith quests, you will get this eventualy. I started the armorsmith quests at 50 and finished at 54. Not sure if the horde can get this, but i believe so. If you went weaponsmith, your SOL, sorry.

The character level requirement for this quest is Only level 45 (or were they all level 40? ack!)... not level 50... He will give this to you after you completed his quests... wait and watch him after you turn the items in and he will walk around and make this item... then he will walk back to where he normally stands... Talk to Him Again and accept the item.

btw: I am already saving up the 270 Thorium bars I will need for the Imperial Plate quests given by Derotain Mudskipper in Gadgetzan... Just need to get to level 50 and am already above 265 Bsmith

DurHelm, 46 Dwarf/Paladin, 275 Blacksmith

Ok for one, yes the quest is in Gadgetzan, Tanaris. Two, yes you have to finish MANY pre-reqs, the very first of which starts off with a smithy in Stormwind at the anvil area, name is Hank the Hammer (The Mithril Order). He sends you to Booty Bay where you talk to McGavin (The Mithril Order) at the smithy place there. You must be lvl 40 to pick up these following quests. He sends you into the forest of Stranglethorn Valley to talk to Galvan the Ancient. I suggest you save yourself much walking and bring him 120 Mithril Bar, 40 Iron Bar, 4 (i think) True Silver Bar, and 4 Citrine. that will complete the 4 quests there. You get a bunch of plans for mithril armor for those quest. then you go to Gadgetzan and talk to Trenton Lighthammer and he asks you to make a bunch of stuff (all these require lvl 45). That will cost you the following to make them all:
114 Mithril Bar
18 Mageweave
3 TrueSilver Bar
14 Thick Leather
2 Solid Grinding STone
1 Aquamarine
after you've made them all, you get THIS QUEST FINALLY which isnt really a quest, you just wait for him to make the item and you get 7200 exp and the nice trinket. hope that helps, it should.

Here are the FACTS about the trinket
- It is available from the Mithril Order smith (Trenton) in Tanaris
- The entire line of quests starts from the Mithril Order smith (Ox) in Orgrimmar if you are horde
- It is also available to alliance
- In order for Ox to give you the first in the entire line of quests, you must complete The Old Ways from the nearby NPC
- You do NOT need to have any sort of specializatin, Armor or Weapons
- Before you receive this trinket in the quest series, you will receive a different one that summons a mace

Anything contrary to the above is plain wrong.

I did the quests for Lighthammer in Gadgetzan and he said to wait while he made the trinket, but nothing happened! The Game Master says that this is functioning correctly. Anyone have any ideas?
