Trial of the Lake

Find a Shrine Bauble in Lake Elune'ara, and take it to the Shrine of Remulos in northwestern Moonglade. Once there, use the Shrine Bauble.

You must speak with Tajarri at the shrine afterwards in order to complete the trial.

Description

For your first trial, search the depths of Lake Elune'ara to locate a Shrine Bauble. It decays rapidly, so proceed with it to the Shrine of Remulos post haste. Use the bauble at the shrine, and then speak with Tajarri there; she is one of Moonglade's most trusted wardens.

You only have a set amount of time to complete the task, and you may be competing against other druids searching for baubles themselves. Mental and physical dexterity will be critical to your success.

Head straight to an air fissure in the big lake 51,51

Face your char east-north-east and swim over the little hills. The container with the bauble looks like a vase and usually sits in a narrow dip/valley - on 31 Jan 2006 it was located at 54,50

Click on the vase to get bauble. Check your bag before you leave the lake and make sure the bauble is in your bag (all of this is timed, so don't mess up - lol)

Head to the tree 35,41 and right click bauble

Talk to the girl 36,40 and she will complete your quest and give you the next part in the series.

Just hop in Lake Elune'ara south of Dendrite Starblaze. Swim through the shallow end until you see the bottom drop off into the deep side. Take a good breath, then swim straight down and if you move your mouse along the bottom you'll eventually hit the bauble. Click it to get it then cast your Moonglade teleport spell to take the easy way out of the lake. Now open up your map and look for the little tree icon which is labeled "Shrine of Remulos" in NW Moonglade. Head over there and go past Keeper Remulos to get to the shrine. Open up your pack and click on the bauble. When it's complete, take a few steps over to Tajarri, and she will give you the next part of the quest.

I don't know who said it but it worked for me. Go to the A in Lake Eluna (last a) and dive. You will see the fissure and the vase a little way off.
Put your cursor on it, wait for the little gold cog and right click on it and it will open.
Swim to the side of the lake where the Shrine is (don't bother running you will waste time, it seemed like the time countdown didn't start till I got out of the water).
Find the Treelike looking God and open bauble in front of him. He is normally at the entrance. The NPC you need to talk too is then a little to the NE of where you are at.

Seconding 50,50: that's where I found it. Apparently it spawns at random locations.

ATTENTION! When you get the bauble, it has a duration of 5 minutes until it disappears! You better move quick if you want to finish the quest. Go to the Shrine of Remulos (you can see it on the map), use it next to the tree shrine and then talk to the girl nelf who speaks up.

it has a random spawn area.. that is y it is not at either one of the coords.. its usually around the bubble fissures... there is no one plc it could be..

I wonder if im stuck with my druid chararcter. Ive located the bauble but failed to return in time. Quest failed , bauble gone out of inventory. Is there anyway to get quests back or does this mean i can not advance further in my class skills

Got the quest and the timer started, went into the lake and hit the first light blue area, the bauble was right there. Picked it up and went straight to the shire, completed with 25 minutes to spare. :)

The bauble is in a container that looks like a urn or pot on piller. Be sure you get the bauble. On my first try i didn't get a fail message so i left assuming i had it, but luckly I double checked my bags on the surface and I didn't have the bauble. I went back for a second try and got it. You have select it in the same way as when you open a chest. As a side note it was no where near a fissure. But was in the light blue part of lake. Look at the minimap and the lake has parts made up of two different colors of blue one dark, the other lighter.

Maybe its because I need some more coffee this morning but found two fissures at the bottom of the lake near the center and saw no bauble, and clues. Thanks for help!

dont pay anny attention to what those other people say. the bauble is right here.... for the first druid. over here for the second druid... i noticed a pattern. i have gone through 5 druids. i would get them almost to lvl 20. stop playing and delete them. each time i did this quest. the item was in a different location. sure. it might have set locations to pop up. but the 5 times i have done this quest. each one was in a different spot. like i just did it. and this time it was at loc 47,47. last time i did it it was in the middle of the lake. the time before that over on the east side of the lake. before that. right by the water fall. it changes locations.

THIS WILL MORE THEN LIKELY BE A QUEST. WHERE YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO SEARCH FOR IT

ok .... go to the middle of the bigg lake in Moonglade. Tha rocks at the bottom that make little bubles DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WOTH THE QUEST ! you search for a red thing...... (kinda like a totem) and get from there the SHRINE BAUBLE you need soo mutch! then take it to SHRINE OF REMULOUS in upper-left of moonglade to the bigg CENTAUR-TREE LOOKING NPC (36,41) and use the SHRINE BAUBLE IN YOUR BACKPACK

i think my druid has a problem. Didn't realize this was going to be a timed quest and knew we had no time to complete it right then, so declined the quest in Moonglade. It disappeared from questlog and seems unobtainable again from either Darnassus or Moonglade questgivers... does this mean she'll never get a chance to gain aquatic form?
