To Find one of the pendants travel to silverpine forest south of the undercity. From there head towards the great sea. Once at the great sea swim directly towards the "T" in the word great.
Swim towards the T untill the fatigue bar shows up. Go back abit untill it disappears. GO straightdown, youll see the air bubbles with the chest next to it.

For the second half simply got to the Sludge Fen North of crossroads. Swim to the bottom and look arounda bit. It's in the only openable chest.

Once you have both go back to Moonglade, go to the Shrine of Remulos, and right click one of the pendants. they will join. GO back to Dendrite he will send you to thunder bluff where you can recieve your skill.

Yes, perhaps aquatic form may not be as good as the ones you listed, but it's still another form, and it's worth getting. It's a quest, you may as well do it, however hard it may be. It doesn't matter if it's 'inferior'. Certain items equipped by you are probably worse than others, but you still equip them, because they're still good.

It's not just speed, the ability to breathe is very useful.
Also note that BRD is almost completely underwater, so that's an example of where aquatic form is useful too.

There are many quests which involve going underwater as well (for example, there are some in STV), and this form is really great for doing them. If you grind, it may not be as useful.

You guys know taht this page is for the HORDE faction right? There is another topic for the alliance equivalent. Anyways, first is in sludge fen - barrens (black oily water) and the 2nd is in silverpine 29,29 are the correct co-ords.

I suggest all you alliance guys go to your aquatic form link on the previous page, instead of confusing my poor horde brethren.

It might not be wise to use it for combat but just switch to it for a second and all of your breath comes back. Espiecally in pvp fights, or at arathi basin, when you're in the water and you and your opponnent start to lose breath you can just switch to water form and you get your breath back. After that just entangle your enemy till they lose their breath and die. It's a sinister way to kill someone but it's dang easy.

Its a travel form, not wise to use it for underwater combat.
Better to have it, then not. Not only does it increase your swim speed but grants you unlimited breath.

How come so many times asks why some skills exist "because they never use them"? It's another form, another thing to press on your skillbar, another animal to turn into, and another possibility of role-playing.

How is it not worth the effort? :p

Can't it just be a fun skill? Useful sometimes, but mostly there to see yourself flow past everyone like you were born at sea? Jump of a ship and the next second you're a sea lion diving into the depths of the great sea!

Possibilities, man... possibilities...

this quest was pretty straightforward. anyone who's flown from thunder bluff to orgrimmar will know where the sludge fen is - hell, the windrider slows down specifically so you notice the place. the second part is more difficult if you're unfamiliar with silverpine forest, but after reading about it here on thottbot it's just a matter of swimming out to the edge of the continental shelf and holding your breath!

as for combining the halves, once you're in the shrine just right-click either of them and they'll combine. take 'em back to dendrite starblaze and you're pretty much done.

These are available to those who are utilizing a UI enhancement like Cosmos or Titan. I recommend getting one so that you can use the coodinate system. It is one of the most useful tools to help with quests. To get cosmos just scroll down this page and you will find it on the left under links. For Titan click here

it is, find 2 rocks in a v shape, (there are lots, but this one is surrounded by threshers, lots of threshers, stay on the surface and swim between the 2 rocks until you are just on the northwest side, then swim down and you'll see the box, hopefully you'll have avoided the threshers too. if the box isn't there, then you're at the wrong rocks, try again,

and so far the westfall info is right, swim directly northwest from gold coast quarry, stay underwater till you see an anchor, then go to the surface, get some breath, and swim down the ledge, dont worry about running out of breath, theres a bubbly fissure that'll replenish your breath, stay at the fissure to open the box, then teleport to moonglade.

go to the shrine, right click on pendant halves, bob's your uncle, you're done.

Does anyone else feel this chain quest is a waste of time? I have a level 60 Tauren Druid on Dragonmaw and so far out of the 30 days and 6 hours I have played, I used Sea lion form twice. Seems like a waste for blizzard to include it unless there was like an underwater instance (hint hint blizz). Or am I mistaken?

Sea Lion Form = Swimming faster and no skills
vs
Bear/Dire Bear Form = Heaps more armorSteady DPS
Cat Form = High DPS, Basic armor, Skills that increase speed
Travel Form = Since your on land 99% of the time it is valuable before you get your mount.
Treeman Form = Adds to healing, Cuts mana use by 20% and slows speed. (However shouldnt be fighting in this form anyways)
Moonkin = Heaps more armor, Great for Balance, Base speed etc..

How does Sea Lion compete with all those other forms which are better...
