Return the Statuette

Bring Karl Boran the Menethil Statuette.
Menethil Statuette
Provided Item:
Menethil Statuette

Description

After pulling the barrel free from the muck and opening it, a silvery figurine is found packed in fine straw. It depicts a young, long-haired Paladin with hammer upraised.

This must be the Menethil Statuette! You must now return it to Karl Boran in Menethil Harbor.

im a lvl 60 Warrior and PvP a ton. So one day waiting for BG i decided to go ahead and do this quest just because it's easy money. To answer everyones question about the statuette. When you copmlete the third part of the quest and need to bring the statuette back, they give you it and it's already in your bag. No need to go find it.

Hollowace
Windrunner

You get to choose between two rewards for this quest, a pair of boots and a staff.
The boots sell for 10s, the staff for 34s, so if you plan on selling the reward, go for the staff!

You cannot interact with the sealed barrel without first having paid the damaged crate a visit, and you can't do anything with the half buried barrel until you''ve been to the sealed barrel, so no, there is no way to skip to the half buried barrel (the one containing the statuette) right away.

This quest line is very nice. If you are a 22 Mage, you can start this no problem. The experience here is Unbelievable, and the exp for thi quest line is rewarding. I found myself enjoying it immensely. The murlocs are easy to handle, and adds are few. the only problem here is the occasional Horde Rogue aggravator. Just try to avoid well traveled roads and detection. You'll do just fine.
