Testing the Vessel

Travel to the Hinterlands, and locate the Wildkin. Kill 10, and use the Muisek Vessel to shrink and capture the fallen Wildkin.

Bring 10 Wildkin Muiseks and the Muisek Vessel to Witch Doctor Uzer'i in Feralas.

Description

This will be a test; both of the ritual I performed, and of your abilities. Take this vessel, <name>. With it, you will have the power to shrink and capture a creature inside of it.

Travel to the Hinterlands and look for creatures known as Wildkin that were once pets of the night elf goddess Elune. The vicious, primitive, or savage owlbeasts are your targets, <name>. Kill 10, and use the muisek vessel to shrink and capture them before their spirits can escape.

Remember to use the Muisek, I forgot all about it and had to go back looking for the bodies. If you use the Muisek correctly, it should look like an Arcane Explosion from a mage. All you need to do is ge tclose to the mob, target it (while it's dead) and then Click the Muisek which has a 30 second cooldown.

You don't have to kill the mob to do it, someone else can kill it and you can run around muisek'ing everything they kill. Wouldn't reccomend it though because that's kinda mean =O.

While doing this quest remember one thing: Owlbeasts are a type of Wildkin, and they work for this quest. Do not repeat my mistake and think you had to go hunt down "<Insert> Wildkin" while also doing the "Natural Materials" quest.

Primative Owlbeasts spawn around Valorwind Lake in the Hinterlands. Loc (40,63) - They spawn all around the area and wonder all over. The stealthed wolves and griffons can be real annoying. All mobs are around LV42-46.

Vicious Owlbeast are in the general area of 26,58 in the Hinterlands. They are mostly north and south of those coords. Just kill them, target their body, then use the Wildkin Muisek Vessel.

Make sure you loot the body first because it will disappear. Never know what you might lose.

Kill *Owlbeast. Then target the corpse and use the Vessel. Be sure to loot first because the corpse disappears and so the loot to. Good luck.

i did it at approx 45, 53 and didnt run into aforenamed stealthed mobs so i suggest you do it there. did it in like 20 minutes so no biggie at all.

As horde, i found 65,55 very good. Nothing other than the Owls to kill (nothing else getting in the way) and all around level 46.

If you are in a group doing any of the Muisek quests, you can each get credit off one corpse if you all activate the Muisek simultaneously. To time it, one person can jump, and when their feet hit the ground everyone can try to activate their Muisek. It can be difficult to pull off but since you'll be doing this to a lot of corpses you'll get the hang of it.

The guy meant that primitive owlbeasts dont count for the savage owlbeast killing quest. But primitives are the ones you need for this quest i guess.

go revantusk village, he's got hunt the savages, avenging the fallen, troll hooligans or something like that, cannibalistic cousins and you can do all these in the same area so you got like 5 quests and they give REALLY good exp.

Also recommend doing the elite quests in the temple with the trolls, juntho'alor or something. got 25k exp of the quests alone lol.

I can not get this quest. I am a level 50 Tauren Druid. I also can not get Natural Materials. When I talk to Uzer'i he will talk to me about Muisek, but the quest does not appear. Is there a another quest that I have to do to get this. I would very much like to get this chain it is perfect for a leatherworker doing Wild Leather series where you need to grind for thick leather.

u have a wildkin muisek vessel in your inventory so u dont just kill em you have 2 right click on the wildkin muisek vessel with the wildkin as a target and it will shrink it and u will get 1 of 10 for the quest : p

good u look this up berfore i finished. I am also doing natural materials quest from feralas... requires 20/40 items from the owl beasts.. I had killed 30 before i read this, still need to kill many more... the 10 heads is easy if u are able to kill the owl beasts. Watch out for the birds and occassional wolf.

First off there are no such thing as Owlbeasts, but there definitely isnt any at 47,56 unless there this "Ghostbusters Tunnel" I don't know about than the shore is not the place to go!Actually every coordinates these people gave are wrong.Soo it's up to you to find them I guess

Go to Hinterlands, east of Tarren Mill up the path north of Durnholde Keep.

Kill the Owlbeasts, then left click onthe dead beast to select it, then right click on the vessel and voila, repeat 9 more times, shake lightly and bake for 30 minutes. easy quest.

At 41 they are easy to kill and I got a drop everytime. The only problem I had was the *^*&% lvl 45 Eagles. I had to kill several of them before i completed this quest

After I kill the Owlbeast, I try to select it and use the drum thing, but it just tells me the target is invalid.

Edit:
Aparently, it DOES NOT work on all Owlbeasts. I could not use it on Marauding Owlbeasts, but I could on Savage Owlbeasts.

Biggest collection of owlbeasts I ever did see - (25, 62).

Hinterlands are in the upper Eastern Kingdoms, opposing continent from Kalimdor, where you got the quest.
