Kill 10 Frayfeather Hippogryphs of any type, then use the Muisek Vessel to shrink and capture them.

Description

Since you have proven that you are both trustworthy and gifted with the ability to use the muisek vessel, I now wish you to capture another creature.

Hippogryphs have been loyal companions to the night elves for many years; their spirits are loyal and steadfast.

Your task is to kill 10 frayfeather hippogryphs, and quickly, shrink and capture them with the vessel, so that their muisek may be preserved. You will find the hippogryphs in the High Wilderness, to the south of here.

If you happen to do this quest before the Hinterlands stuff, save any long elegant feathers you receive. They're also used for "another message to the wildhammer" (part 2 of the pvp quest chain).

Best place to find these is&nbsp 55,63 (cosmos cords) or if you dont have cosmos you want to go South of the Yeti Cave.. also you can kill both types for the quest

Until such time that Blizzard changes this, you can get the muiseks from other people's kills. So, if someone else is wading through the hippogryphs & not skinning them, you can follow along & claim the corpses for your muiseks quota.

The previous coords will get you in an area with all you need. It's just south of the word "High" in "The High Wilderness" on the map.

loc 56, 43 in feralas. took me 20 mins.sometimes 3 will attack at once. lvl 43 and 44.

They are just south of the feral scar yeti's. This was easy and did not get any adds. They also drop components for the [50] natural materials quest.
