Description

I want to fix this samophlange, but to do that I'm going to need some supplies. I ran out of seventeen-point-five gauge nugget slugs and I'm going to need a bunch of those for the work ahead.

The closest place to get them is the Sludge Fen to the east. The Venture Company usually keeps them in their tool buckets. Go to the Sludge Fen and look in the tool buckets you find there, then return to me when you've gathered enough nugget slugs.

That quest was easy and Im a level 19 Undead Warlock first time playing. Just pick off the venture capital guys one by one. The slugs are in the little buckets around the permimeter of the lake.

Also, before taking them back...on the shore of the far side of the lake is a shredder who needs his ignition key. The supervisor guy drops it when killed, back on the close side shore of the lake. Get 1350 exp just for that part.

Slugs found at the Sludge Fen 56,8

Slugs are all around the site in buckets. They drop in multiple drops (1-3).

Advice: Use some sort of slow/cripple on the mobs as they run fast. You can often end up with 3-4 on you if not careful!!

slugs can be found in the area of 56.10
They are found in tool buckets near the broken down robots (shredders I guess) and on the structure in the water

I didn't come across this quest until I was level 18, and I could handle the occasional aggro pretty easilly, so it was pretty easy.&nbsp It helps to lead the MOBs away a bit before you start wacking on them.&nbsp The tool boxes don't respawn very fast, so you'll probably have to go into the tower to get all the loot.&nbsp A wing clip or other slow spell would have been handy

Ok, this quest isnt the end of the world. A bit tedious. After you talk to Wenikee Boltbucket head east to Sludge Fen. Stay on the corners and pick them off one by one (if your solo) Takes a bit of time and your done.

you can get more than 1 slug per bucket. In my experience I got 15 slugs by just scouring the perimeter. I didn't have to go into the tower to get more.

On a side note, you can also find chen's empty keg on the northeast part if you still haven't got one.

I found the 'Tool Buckets' with the slugs in them around the lake at 56,8.&nbsp The buckets are at the base of the towers surrounding the lake.

The buckets are NOT in the big huge tower with a named NPC at the top.

You can acquire the bolts from buckets on the perimeter (55,9) - don't need to go into the derrick to get them.&nbsp The mobs run early, and though spaced to where you can pick them off one-by-one - it can get frantic with additional unwelcome guests.

Walk around the outside, on top of the hill. Not down by the lake. The slugs can be found inside the buckets, and the buckets are found around the crane-looking thingies. You get more than 1 nugget per bucket. It's a pain in the ass but i soloed it as a 16 warlock.

u can take it around 49.5 (Barrens) when 1st part will be completed.

This quest is located in the sludge fen (56,7) or west of the main road right before you leave to ashenvale. If you just stay on the outskirts of The Sludge fen you will find plenty. They are a tool bucket you can loot.

To get the slugs you do not need to go to the tower. To get the key for the quest that starts here you have to go to the tower. The big boss can’t be level 25 elite, I soloed him as a level 23 Shaman. He does activate a machine pet. When you get the key, take it back to the machine that gave the quest, and then accept the next quest to escort him out. You will get him to the edge of the camp where he will breakdown and have you go on to Ratchet. If you have complete the tasks for the nuggets prior to complete the escort first take the nuggets to the lady to the NW and then go to Ratchet and then to Orgrimmar.

There is one other quest that takes place here and it is a Druid only quest and that is to get one half of the pendent for the Seal quest for your Aquatic form.

the easy way is just get a few and come back later and get more. Like they said the reward isn't worth the frustration. Use this one for when your bored. If you go over the hill just west of the sludge fen from the gold road you can avoid a lot of the mobs.

Instead of whining that this quest is frustrating and hard, why you don't get a teamate?

That's what we did and the quest was really easy.&nbsp We slaughtered everybody.

Also, don't forget the Shredder.&nbsp He ask you to find a key, then later you must escort him out of the camp.&nbsp Again, it's easier with a partner.

This quest is horrible. I get surrounded by 5 or 6, even more sometimes, of those little pesky enemies. I can't believe how badly done is the spawing system in this game.

Theres no way this is a level 15 quest! Be prepaired to get killed. Tried this with my lev 15 Rogue with help from a level 14 Shaman and we died horribly time after time after time...

The mobs spawn so fast, and of coarse the only graveyard is at the crossroads so by the time we got back all the mobs had respawned and we had a heck of a time retrieving our bodies. Finally gave up.

I suggest waiting tell your level 20 or bring at least 4, maybe 5 players.

There are level 19 elite mobs here! (OUCH!)

The sludge fen is northeast of the samophlange machine and the hut. You'll see little tool buckets all around that have the nugget slugs in them. Of course, there are quite a few mobs guarding them that you will have to kill.

The Sludge Fen is located northeast of the Samophlange Hut at 56,8. This is in the far North of the Barrens.

As previously stated, the little tool buckets are all around the Fen, and you'll have to fight to get to them.

Just get a healer or take your time doing the quest, no reason to rush, The Tool Buckets reappear every couple minutes so it takes no time, best exit is to hearthstone to Crossroads. Watch out getting up to the tower, best way is to kill 1 Venture Co. to make a path through the circle and than jump into the water, no emenies in the water. CO's are 56,8.

This quest has found itself on my "abandon" list very quickly. Between the fact that as a lvl 17 rogue I have practically nothing to prevent these guys from running, and agroing. plus the lvl 18 (lvl 15 quest my rear!) that aggros from above, not to mention the insanely quick respawn time, and how hard these guys hit...but only giving out 110 xp? Riiiiiiiight.
