I'm glad there are so many posters that know exactly what is right for everyone else regardless of style of play, server type and differing server economies.

Some ppl play on PvP servers and some play on PvE. Of course these quests will be more difficult on the PvP servers. That is one factor to consider when deciding whether or not to these quests.&nbsp I play on a PvE server and am doing the quests for my third lock.

Yes the Robes of Arcana may be more expensive on some servers than others.&nbsp I just bought one for under 3g on Gilneas. My gold bar cost 40s on the AH. I could've had it for 30c if I were patient enough to wait an hour and send it via mail from an alt.

I have 4 level 60 alts. One of them will farm the two smouldering coals.&nbsp The longest part will probably be grinding the vials of blood, but hey, I always go to Desolace at lvl 30ish and do most of the quests there anyhow.&nbsp I have to grind for items from the Hatefury for another quest anyways.

I'll have this robe in my early 30s and I'll wear it util I'm lvl 50ish.&nbsp I already have two other locks levels 50 and 40 still wearing it.&nbsp It suits my needs, I have no problem killing mobs 4 lvls higher than me.

Hmm..., less than 5 gold, a couple of hours for a robe that I'll only wear for 20 levels and roughly 15K+ XP.&nbsp Tough decision.

I recommend ppl read the requirements, look up prices, mob levels, consider the gank factor (if you're on a PvP server) and decide if it's worth it to you.

Along with the good exp the quest chain will net you, this robe will probably be used all the way to the 50s, possibly even further than that. It's a great robe, has great stats and should not be overlooked by any warlock.

As of patch 2.3 this chain is easily done at level 34. The hardest part is the fire elementals, but even though most of them were level 39 I was still able to solo them. Great exp, at 34 the chain took me from 3% of level to 89%. Lot's of running around though.

+Damage is superior to stats at all levels, especially while leveling. Increasing your mana pool only extends the amount of downtime, and the increase to crit is negligible the exception is Imp. Drain Soul, and in this case, mana pool only needs to be large enough to make the talent worthwhile. You only need enough stamina to take a few hits, and alternatively, spell damage is a great way to boost survivability because Drain Life, Siphon Life, and Life Tap all scale with +damage.

I'm level 31 now, with 65 spell damage. No downtime, and I kill mobs very quickly.

As an alliance warlock on a PvP server this quest line seems extremely hard in comparison to playihg on a PvE server.

Any tips how to complete without getting killed every 30 sec.?:)

Nice robe of course but not for long, cause u can get better one in RFD from the main boss (20sta/10int), and the quest is rather long... but anyway u'd better complete it!

i did this at 36, mainly because i couldn't find anyone to make the robes.&nbsp after that, the only dificult thing was the 38-9 burning elementals in arathi.&nbsp i am still using this at 43, and have guildys that are 48 using it. its a good robe

Imo the effort for this simply doesn't do it. I'll probably make it because of the experience, but any warlock should just try and grab as much of the green Shadow Wrath gear they can. As mentioned earlier, the benefits are tremendous. My warlock is lvl 32 and has 140 shadow spell dmg (did twink her with a Staff of the Shade and a 30 spelldmg enchant), but the rest is from Shadow Wrath gear which is relatively cheap on the AH.

Had a hard time finding that robe that she wanted.... but the gold bar I got from the AH for 9s. I expected to have to pay a lot more but I didn't do the buy out, I just waited for the auction to expire.&nbsp I am in the Draka server. Feel free to send me a message to say hi.

You got to admit, these are pretty sweet robes even though the quests sends you to Horde populated places, just asking to get ganked. I got these robes at lvl 33, the hardest part for me was the satyrs who didn't want to drop the damn vials of blood, after my 30th kill they started dropping(around the same time i accepted the reagents quest). Everything else dropped fairly quickly(with assistance ofcourse). I can't wait to wear the robe!

I just completed this quest with my level 32 Warlock and trust me, it wasn't easy. The lesser infernals in the prequest was level 36-37 and resisted my spells alot and then the burning exiles in the follow up was level 38-39 and were impossible to solo at 32. I got help from a lvl 59 walking by... I suggest you should be lvl 35-36 before trying this unless you got a lvl 60 friend or alt.

Just used gnomish death ray then sacraficed VW for shield and called another using Fel Dom. Killed Burning exile in matter of seconds and only did this three times to get both smoldering coals needed. THNX 2 engineering!

I think this is a too long way for a robe.
I'm a lock at lvl 33 (near 34) and now i have to find the lesser infernal stone.

Until this point i use the Robe of Arugalwhith enchant [+25 health] and i think it's ok.
It has got lots of stats.
I think that the hadrest part is to find the Robe of Arcana.

I had got so luck! I found a lvl 61 lock who could create me the Robe Gratis!
Just bring the materials!

I'm in the Server Darkspeare, if u want help or if u want whisper to the lock lvl 61, i'll tell u the name.
Can't do this here, for privacy ^_^

I'm Underscore.

P.S: Sorry for my english, it isn't so correct :D

I manged to complete the whole quest by myself at level 31. The only help I took was from my level 40 shaman to farm the Cresting Charms for me. Only died once fighting the Infernals (a succubus pathed my way and decided that I needed a beatdown when I had next to no health left from funneling my voidwalker)

Cresting Charms are key for fighting the Burning Exiles at such a low level.

It is enrely possible to do this quest solo, and your reward is some kick ass robes that will last you a long while, and another level as bonus. Plus, some flight points, cause it sends you all over place! Also a sense of accomplishment.

Whew, well worth it! These are some nice, seriously good looking robes (hey, I'll choose stats over style, but it doesn't hurt to have both)

Depends on the Server you're on. Smaller servers may have plenty of people that can make the robe you've listed here, however many people will not be able to make it and a lock needs whatever they can get.

Take the quest, get the robe.

I did it between lvl 32 and 33. Soloed every part except the Fire Exiles MOBs. Tough little SOBs. Had a lvl32 Mage friend help wih those. Wasn't really expecting lvl39 Exiles tho.

But, having done it, it's a pretty cool looking robe!

Ran as a 34 warlock solo. Nothing was too tough until I got to the elementals in Arathi. Even the infernal (only had to kill one) died easily. The elementals were tough as hell. I concentrated on the 38s and ended up killing 8 of them to get both coals. Tanked with VW until either he died or I pulled aggro (he didnt hold it well). With immolate not being an option they took a little longer to kill and used a healthstone each fight. Then eat/drink and go to the next. Funny thing is I'm not wearing the robe - the one I have is a little better for me (your mileage may vary) with comparable stam and int as well as 8 spirit.

For the quest as a whole I ended up buying the Robes of Arcana for 7g (you bet tailors know we need this one) which was a little expensive but not terrible
