The Holy Water is found in Stranglethorn at the top of the Naga camp just north of Booty Bay.&nbsp Most the mobs in the area are level 43-45.

No, this quest giver is not found in the Deadmines.&nbsp On the map, you will see a large mountain range.&nbsp If you notice in the middle there is a large gap, separating one mountain from another.&nbsp Follow that gap up to the top and head to your right.&nbsp The quest giver is at an emcampment there.&nbsp You can also get to him by walking up the hillside from the coast.&nbsp I do not have cosmos so I cannot give coordinates nor can I be more specific about it than that, nonetheless, this giver is not too difficult to find once you get to the correct area.

He is also the quest giver for:

Hope that helps.

The location of the fountain in STV is a bit obscure.

Climb up the ridge starting at 26,64, then through the entrance at 27,63, cross the bridge and you're there.

Right click on the fountain and you'll have your holy water.

You'll encounter a few naga, lvl 44 or so, along the way. Myself, I didn't run across any elites.

And for another matter, what are the odds that a level 40 player will even be in the area to see that there's an available quest?

The Naga guarding is not an Elite is a rare spawn. You can see it because it has a silver dragon around the picture.
Drops a nice necklace.

I soloed this whole quest as a lvl 47 Lock. Here's how it goes:
First part is in the Naga Camp in STV. Keep following the path until you get to a bridge, on the other side of the bridge is the Holy Well.
Second part, locations given on Anonymous are correct (Swamp of Sorrows, Tanaris, Hinterlands). In the Hinterlands, the bag of oats is in a little camp *outside* the walls of Shada'Alor. It's a little bit to the left of the main entrance.
Third part you can do in AH. Just buy a Truesilver bar.
Fourth part is a little harder. There are indeed a lot of aggy gryphs. The suggestion to park yourself in the pond at 54,69 is a good one. There aren't as many mobs there, and I caught a Cursed Sycamore almost right away.
Fifth part is simple enough. The Charred Oak is right at 54, 50, on the far side of the Cauldron. On the map, you can see a place where the Cauldron wall curves in a little bit that's where the tree is.
During this quest series, since I'm a clothie, I did a lot of: go to where the item is, die, rez, fear mobs, pick up item, RUN. It takes a lot of time but it works. I got 4650XP each for the first 4 parts and 5600XP for the final. Also, the trinket is wicked cool :) Totally worth it, IMHO.

The fountain is in Stranglethorn Vale on the island full of Naga. It's guarded by an elite Naga. Coords for fountain are 28,62.

You have to do a lot of travelling on this quest.&nbsp I noticed you end up along roughly the same travel line as the Cortello's Riddle quest series.&nbsp It's probably a good idea to do these together.

If you come from the north, you cross a bridge from the mainland to the little island, then a bridge from the little island to the big one. Then you pretty much immediately take a path going up a hill. There are naga all along the way unless someone has cleared things for you. There are ruins on top of a hill then a stream with another bridge over it. On the other side of that bridge there's a Holy Fountain, which is guarded by Lord Sakrasis, a lvl 45 naga (not Elite).

The area, by the way, is called the Nek'mani Wellspring, so if you see that name pop up on your screen you know you're in the right place.

to get there, just south of the arena, there is a path heading west, follow that path, when you cross the bridge onto the island, the path will split into 3 separate trails, the one to the left heads up a small hill, this is the one you want (you can follow the other two if you want to kill some naga's). the path will turn back east at the top of the hill with another bridge to cross to get to the actual pond. after reading all of the posts, I was leary of the 45 rare (king something or other) who was in front of the pond, so I popped off a str, a sta and an agi scroll to get buffed up, then charged him, he was dead and i wasn't even down 1/4 of life. Good coinage from all the naga's, and the kind nag dropped a green necklace (cant remember the name, but it was like +10 str, +3 sta). I would say that if you are a 40-41, bring a friend, or some healing pots, if you are 42-43 you should have no problems at all (all of the nag's except the king were 43-44 and didnt hit that hard)(okay, i am a warrior with 4k of armor, so maybe they did hit hard and i just didnt notice). good xp for not much trouble at all and if you kill all the nags in the area before you leave you will walk out with about 25-50s to boot for mmmm maybe a 20 minutes of fun

OK, guys.
no offense, but you were really unclear about this step.
First, when you enter a path you will see level 43-44 naga mobs.&nbsp Go down past a wood plank bridge and take a left.&nbsp Keep going up this path and take another left, putting you smack dab in front of the spring across a small bridge.&nbsp The only problem is, there are about 6 level 44 naga on either side of you.&nbsp I did this with my 41 lock and just soulstoned across the bridge.&nbsp Get the water and then you are free to hearth!

i did this at level 38.. before i got&nbsp the quest

the trick is just to run run run and die on or near the bridge so you can rez far away from teh naga and just grab the water and jump off the bridge an swim away =) this is the easiest part of the quest

Completed this entire string with pally, shammy, and warlock all at lvl43.&nbsp Most difficult was the Hinterlands leg in Step 2.&nbsp Just read entries for each step.&nbsp Entries are accurate and easy to follow.&nbsp Thanks to those who gave location descriptions independent of cosmos, titan, or any other location method.&nbsp Good Luck

Tons of xp (23-24k), about 5-6g, and a nice trinket.

How ever did you all notice this quest was available? I mean, its attainable at level 40 and you wont be hanging around this place for other quests? My last quest in Westfall was down in the deadmines taking Van Cleef and that was in the mid 20s. There doesnt seem to be any other quest leading up to getting this one. Lucky that I saw it here then. :)

In the naga island go all the way up. You'll find an area with a wooden bridge.
On the other side there's the spring (a fountain actually) you're looking for.
I tried stealthing in cat-form but I was killed. When I went back to recover my body it was easy since I died in the middle of the bridge and mobs were on the other side.
There is nobody guarding the spring.
i got it, jumped off the bridge and it was done.

The bridge you need to cross to get to the fountain is not at the far north of the island as previously posted. There are 2 bridges, neither will get you to the spring.

Instead, head along the West side of the Island about half the way up until you get to the path that leads up to the upper ridge with more Naga. At 27,62 is the path toward the bridge-lots more Naga there. You're in Nek'Mani Wellspring area now. Cross the bridge, then right-click the fountain to get the holy water.

The Wellspring area is infested with Naga hanging out close to each other-huge aggro problem if you're not a Rogue, so bring a friend or two. If you are a Rogue (like me), easy to stealth in and snatch the water, unless the Elite Naga is guarding it. It was unguarded when i did it on 5/20/05.

Hope this helps,
