Description

I will get started immediately on crafting your orb and infusing your new demon into it. When done, you will have the choice of having it in the form of a staff or orb. I always felt it was important to cater to a warlock's chosen weapon... I see no reason not to continue that practice.

i am a lvl 50 lock and when i finished the q i got the orb ,looks fine this far and u ll definetly find a better staff after a couple of lvls.

If you are after the +shadow damage you would need to take the other route with Menara. The Orb of Dor'Orahil or the Staff have the +Shadow damage. Personally I've built my lock all destruction and +Fire is where it's at.

Is it just me or do the orb and staff seem to be items which are more specialized for a mage?&nbsp I can see the use of +fire spells if a player is running pvp a lot and using searing pain (which causes mad aggro in pve), but other than that, the intellect is minimal and immolate doesn't do nearly enough damage to make a big difference.

The way I remember it, the lock rewards (orb and staff) included some stamina and +shadow.

Yeah i was doing this quest and she took the Ruby from me and the soul but i got left with the orb and she is telling me to talk to the neophyte (which i did to get the ruby in the first place) can any of you tell me how i am to fix this?

When I went to Tabetha, I had killed the mobs outside to ensure there would be no adds. When the Infernal (lvl 40 elite) was 50% dead, I had all the mobs nearby me spawn. I was then fighting 3 mobs and quickly died. I failed the quest and now can't seem to find a way to get the quest back. I went back to Rachet but Menara has no yellow explanation point on her head. Anyone have any idea how to redo this quest or is it once and done (win or lose). Thanks and peace.

more importantly, the spell damage coefficients from shadow spells are generally almost two times that or fire spells for a lock- between 86% and 120% for the most used spells as compared to less than half of that for most fire spells.

I would recommend doing the alternate quest, https://classicdb.ch/?quest=4962 and receiving the shadow damage item instead, https://classicdb.ch/?quest=4964 as you're better off using affliction spells for leveling.

If you do choose to go down the fire/destruction line, I'd highly recommend taking the orb over the staff. It's a great pair for the Sword of Serenity (https://classicdb.ch/?item=6829) from SM.

Menara's acolytes give you a choice of 2 quests: the fel or the Infernal. These aren't for getting the actual summons, but they do determine which items you get to chooce for reward. These 2 are what you get if you pick the Infernal quest.
