Description

Next door the Deathguards are holding a few captured farmers hostage. High Executor Darthalia suspected one of the military strategists from Stormwind to be hiding out amongst them. Apparently the military chap was found dead in the Plaguelands last night. Darthalia, always looking out for me, decided the prisoners would be left to my disposal.

I think it's time we threw those farmers a party. Sounds like a grand ol' time!

Place this tainted keg on the rug in their room. Plagued brew for all!

It's very simple, once you have the keg which is a random spawn inside dun garok, you take it to the apothecary in Tarren Mill. Then accept the last quest in the sequence. Go NEXT DOOR TO THE INN IN TARREN MILL. Go upstairs, click on the rug, watch what happens. END QUEST LINE.

The rug is Next Door in the in at (61,18) up stairs. This is about a 10 sec run for 3650 XP and 200 reputation with undercity

I don't get this quest chain. I mean, you poison the beer and prove it's deadly...and that's it? No followup or cool rewards (other than exp) for this long chain?

It is finished. Lydon is like an experimental scientist for the royal apothecary society that does... experiments.. This is just one of his experiments, that's all. It worked apparently. The farmers turned into frogs and everyone's happy.

Next door - there's only one house, the Inn and lo and behold the captured farmers are there.

Click on the rug and you'll see something happening.

That's IT?

The farmers just say a few words then croak. After going through all that I wanted something a little more exciting. At least the dog turned into a monster. I expected the farmers to do something. After all that, though, they just died. It made me feel kind of dirty.

Why are people having such difficulty with this quest? It's upstairs at the Tarren Mill Inn, not 100 feet from Lydon. Coordinates aren't necessary, you weird people.
