To start on the basic shape, I'll need crocolisk skins from the crocs along the river in northern Stranglethorn.

River Crocolisk can be found all along the river near Nesingwary's Expedition. Regular River Crocolisk drop the Large River Crocolisk Skin. Do not wander around looking for any Large River Crocolisk.

Coordinates are 35,10.

The Large River Crocolisk skin are dropped off normal River Crocolisk. I looked around for Large ones, couldn't find any, then killed a few normal ones and got a Large skin.

There's an easy way to do this, Go straight to BB, pick it up, then go back to the camp for all the tiger/panther/raptor quests and while you're doing those, if you see a croc, kill it.&nbsp That's how I did it, if you grind the crocs then you're only going to get frustrated.&nbsp Plus the quest is worth 1250.&nbsp and it drops your Rep w/ Buccaneers by 500.

What an annoying quest! I also must have killed two dozen of these ugly critters before I read all the posts here and went looking elsewhere.

Nesingwary's Expedition has a camp on the South bank of the river West of the rope bridge.

I found both skins from a lvl 30 or 31 croc just West of the camp. This MAY have been the same animal as I crossed the river after getting one, then took a break for lunch, then came back and found the second one in exactly the same area. So it could have been the first one respawned.

Be careful crossing the river. There are lvl 31 sharks (or something) in there and they evaded almost all of my (druid) spells. Very annoying. Fortunately I was trying to whack these things from the bank of the river but I'd hate to discover that while in the water.

Anywhere along the river near Nessingwary will have the river crocolisks. Thre are no large ones just kill normal "river crocolisks." It is a random drop, so soe people will have to kill many, and some will get it quickly. The drop-off is in BB at the leatherworking shop, located against the side of the mountain as high as you can climb towards the middle of the stretch of town.

I just spent like two hours killing snapjaw crocolisks in the northern part of the river. Finally I gave up and looked on here to see that i've been killing the wrong things. Frustrating. =/

Just run around Lake Nazferiti killing the River Croclisk. They are level 30-31 and are easy to kill (i did this quest as a level 30 hunter.) After only killing three I found both the skins.

Co-ords 40,12.
Just above Lake Nazferiti and below where the bridge crosses the river.
Killed 2, got 2 skins.
Lvl 31 crocks. Easily solo'd from lvl 29 upwards with any character. Just check underwater before attacking to make sure there are not any beasties waiting to attack you mid fight.

I got the skins (very random drop) from large Crocs both left and right from the rope bridge. So that's in the part of the river just next to the camp but also the part of the river in the direction of the venture co. thingy. had to kill 11 crocs for 2 skins. sheesh :)
