Great Bear Spirit

Seek out the Great Bear Spirit in northwestern Moonglade and learn what it has to share with you about the nature of the bear. When finished, return to Dendrite Starblaze in Nighthaven, Moonglade.

Description

In the northwest part of Moonglade resides the home of a wise and noble being we call the Great Bear Spirit. For all druids, it has served as a tutor and mentor into the first true natural understanding of the bear. All druids at one point seek the spirit's wisdom, and you shall be no exception.

Go to the Great Bear Spirit now and learn what it will teach. When it is satisfied with you, return to me here in Nighthaven. We will then see if you have truly taken account of the lessons it teaches.

To save walking back to Dendrite Starblaze after finding the bear spirit, just open your spellbook and hit the Teleport:Moonglade spell... it drops you just in front of the building you need to go to.

I spent a good 10 minutes looking around for him when he's just outside of the town

I found the Great Bear Spirit at 39,27.

He is a big brown bear, blends in with the terrain and has no yellow questionmark above him, so keep your eyes open!

When you�ve spoken to him and returned to hand the quest in and are going back to Thunder Bluff, there is a flight master that can take you right back at 44,45!

I found him at 39,28, it took me about 10 mins to find him. I had someone else help me and look it up on here for me as well. you will see his spirit flames rise off of him but you have to keep an eye out. I found him behind a log that I was at not 2 mins before I found him.

Okay for those of you that can't read coordinates like me, here is a simple description of where to find the Great Bear Spirit.&nbsp Go to the NW cover of Moonglade, on the road near the Shrine of Remulos.&nbsp Stand on the road and face the N, stand between the light post closest to the town of Nighthaven and a big tree that looks like it has a rope around it.&nbsp Head N, slight NW from there towards the mountain, between a little hill with a tree on it to the left and a tree by itself on the right. Continue til you come to a small patch of 3 trees.&nbsp Look to your left, the bear spirit should be there.&nbsp You got the bubble when you mouse over him.&nbsp He's a big brown bear with a smoky blue/grey glow.

To complete this quest, you must talk to the great bear spirit then RETURN to the guy. It will say complete even when you start the quest this is how all quests that have you go to talk someone only look like. You'll experience it more than once =)

I also am having the problem that the quest giver is not even at the place he was when he gave me the quest, but the bigger problem I'm having is alli players killing me immediately in this town. Obviously the guards go after that person right away when that happens, but the graveyard's way on the other side of the lake so I had to go around and back again close to 5 times because of that idiot...

just watch out for stupid people like that.

I looked around for what seemed hours, when I clicked back on here, I saw the path, which I'm sure I'd taken. Anyway, for the record, I found the Great Bear Spirit at 39.27. I think the game makes you look around all of Moonglade, then, after you're about to cancel your World of Warcraft account, the bear appears. I walked down from where you teleport, like a grassy pathway, exactly 15 steps, then, over to my right, 3 steps, and I watched the map coords closely. There, magically, was the friggin bear!

He was gone for me too, I think he was ducking at the water pool at the other end of the room. I went back to the bear and read what it said in case I missed something essential, but it wasn't really important. I used the telepot spell to get back, and there he was. I'm not sure did the teleport make him come back, or did I just wait long enough.

You'll find the bear by exiting MOonglade by the western gate. Head west off the walk way and u'll find him a bit north of your path. co oridnates are (39,28) (39,27). to get back from moonglade to darnassus there is a hyppogryph master beside the small lake south of monglade. it'll cost you a few silvers. theres also one in the western part of moonglade.

well i clicked on him and i went thru clicking on the quests with him. and then it didnt have accept at the end of all this. there was only a Goodbye button. everything he said was said on the screen and it stood there. and so i loged out now. will see what happens when i log back in.

If you look at your Moonglade map, the bear is in the patch of grass exactly between the Shrine of Remulus and Nighthaven. When you leave Nighthaven on the road west, turn right immediately when the road turns south and head straight north. The bear should be there. Hope this helps

easy way to find the bear after the starbalze guys says to is to go straight west out the door of the hut hes in. over the water, then through a path in the mtns and hes straight ahead at (39, 27)

Best way to get back is to fly. There's a rookerie in the southern part of Moonglade for Alliance. That only works if you have another flight point though. If not, you have to hearth back.

TYVM, these directions worked perfectly... Head south from town on the road, Stop at the first Lamp post, Turn around and Face North, Run between the trees just NW of you, Up the hill on your right, you can barely see him pacing back and fourth!
