Description

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's people who don't pay their gambling debts! And there are a lot of people who owe me. Think you can help me collect?

First, there's "Shaky" Phillipe down by the docks. He owes me plenty after last week's game and I want my due! But to get it, we'll have to scare him.

Go out of town and hunt Elder Mistvale Gorillas. Find a nice selection of giblets, then take them to Shaky. Don't let on that they're from an animal; let him think the worst.

On the lower decks, there's a sick goblin sheltering under an up-turned half boat.

McKinley is in the building just next to that.

These Gorillas can be found in huge spawns in Mistvale Vally, (34,64) took me about 5 mins as a 40 shaman!

Hes on the top floor, if you see the 'anchor' hanging off the dock and turn around your looking at his house. Also the big shark is hanging above you.

The exact corrds in the doorway are 27.6,77.1

I'm quite stunished as how the drops are in Stranglethorn..

When i was there with my priest i Got a epic ring better that most stuff i got at level 60,.

Yesterday, with my warlock, i was hunting elder mistvale gorillas and i've got an incredible epic shield..

I think that gorilla's area are one of the better grinding areas on the game. Enjoy it, with gorillas hair and skins that you'll get (if you're skinning) you'll see your MONEY growing fast.. :)

The guy you get the quest from is at 27, 77. Inside this house. I had to look for him all over BB, so this might help.

Drop rate for this quest isn't that bad. It took me 6 Gorilla's to get the 5 Giblets.
The spawn rate is ok and the vast majority of them are in Mistvale Valley.

These Gorillas are north of BB a bit before Gurubashi Arena. The ones next to the road have a much better drop rate than those that are east of the road in Mistvale Valley. Actually, I got no drops from those in Mistvale Valley. Still, as a lvl 42 rogue, this took about 10 mins to complete.

You can find the mistvale monkeys around Mistvale Alley - 31,68 :D

Apart from the 825XP and rep bump, this leads directly to (Quest #607) (just walk back to the other side of the docks and speak to NPC that gave you this quest) for 2450 XP and 40 silver.

The gorillas are just north of Booty Bay. You don't have to walk that far. They're to the east of the road.

I'm guessing this is for both Horde and Alliance, but he doesn't seem to have a quest to offer me, I'm level 43 so can't be the level, prehaps I need a friendly rep with Booty Bay... anyone know?

Quest giver is in a shack in the town of Booty Bay.

The Elder Mistvale Gorillas are in Mistvale Valley at 31,67 and 33,65.

They are level 40 & 41 beasts. There are not many, but the respawn rate isn't too bad. The drop rate is pretty slow.

(they also drop gorilla fangs)

I found that coords 32,60 (west of the road) had a good drop rate, a little under 50% for me.

"Sea Wolf" MacKinley is found in the first building on your right if you are standing beside ZANDALARIAN EMISSARY and GRIMESTACK the stable master outside of the Inn in Booty Bay

Combine this with Mok'thardin's Enchantment for optimal efficiency. Both items won't drop soon, Gorilla's drop a pletoria of vendor junk though, so decent farming.

Oh, and try stay out of sight of the road, use trees etc. to drink up behind.

One more thing: Gorillas wander about - a lot.

I had to kill 16 Gorillas to get the 5 giblets (also got 8 Gorilla Fang, 5 Coarse Gorilla Hair, and many chipped gorilla teeth). The gorillas are very likely to add if you are fighting one already (about half the fights I had, a second gorilla joined about 1/3 to 1/2 way through), and I was being careful to isolate and pull away from others. Plus they respawn fairly quickly, sometimes right near where you are fighting.

I dunno if its just me but The Mistvale Giblets were dropped by each second Gorilla... The droprate is better, maybe it was modified or something.

A good place to hunt these Gorillas is Mistvale Valley. Just off the road at coords 33,62. Theres quite a few of them here. I found some other players here but there was plenty to go around and the spawns were fairly quick. Then when your quest is done run back to Booty Bay.. Shaky will be waiting for you at the bottom of the ramp.

The quest-giver is "Sea Wolf" MacKinley at 27,77 who is in a building right next to the big blue shark hanging upside-down (not the inn).

Drop rate was not that bad. about one in every 3 to 4 kills solo this as as 38 Rogue around 31,68 (cords) there levels are 40 and 41
