A Plague Upon Thee

Release the Plagueland Termites in the Northridge Lumber Mill, then return with the Barrel of Plagueland Termites to Nathaniel Dumah at Chillwind Camp in Western Plaguelands.

Description

You look around the lumber mill for something suitable to open the barrel with. You find a crowbar that looks like it will do the trick.

You set your feet and pray that you'll be able to get out of the mill before the termites get to you.

You need to go to EASTERN PLAGUELANDS to collect the termites. Then go back to WESTERN PLAGUELANDS and put them in the box in the lumbermill.

run in from back of mill
kill two mobs
right click on large crate
small barrel will appear on top of it
black &*!@ will spew out
right click on barrell
insects will fly out
run back to Chillwind camp
redeem quest with Nathaniel

Sadly, there is no Termite zerg, the barrel simply despawns. Ah well :(

48.32 are the approximate coords.
There are three 54/55 surrounding where you need to place the termites. They aggro very easily when you strike one of them.
At 53 rogue/night elf I sapped the closest to it.. then placed it and completed/accepted the quests while taking on attack. Ran like a little girl after completion.

I have placed the barrel on the crate all that happens is the barrel starts to smoke.&nbsp I have clicked on the barrel, on the crate, and barrel in my bag, and nothing happens.&nbsp What am I doing wrong. I can't get the termites to come out of the barrel&nbsp Help Help

once you have the quest and set the full barrel up there, just right click the barrel. It releases the termites (which wont do anything to you) and you're done. and thanks to all of you location posters, helps everytime

I think what everyone is missing here is that, at least in my case, the termites have no animation or graphical effect. You place the bar on the crate by clicking the crate, you finish the quest by clicking on the bar. The termites have got out now and the quest is finished at that point, although you didnt see anything happen and are able to click the crate again. Just go back to the questgiver and get your reward )

find the barrel INSIDE the lumber mill at the coords ~~48,32. Click on the crate. then the barrle starts to shoot out green crap. THEN you have to click on the barrel that just appeared to finnish the quest and to get the next one to really finnish it. :P stupid blizzard being retards AGAIN.

Plaguewood is in Eastern plaguelands - Go West of eastwell tower. Hug the mountain range upwards (northish) and you're there :)
U idiots need to be posting in the 2nd part of the quest - GEEEZZZZ!

After this is done, go back to Chillwind Point with the barrel and turn it back in to quest giver. The barrel will already be in your bag. It took me a while to figure this out. it said it right on the quest.

Go back to quest giver in Chillwind to complete. not buggy.

first you click on the crate to set the barrel on top, then you have to click the barrel to open it.

The is Mill down the trail that leads north from the main road, north of the Farms in Western Plaguelands. go around back...pick off a couple of lvl 56 mobs inside (pull them with longrange), and then walk inside the building and activate the box. It will as if you want to place the barrel on the box, you say "hell yes I would", and then smoke comes out of the barrel. Click on the barrel to complete the quest and then return to Chillwind Point.

For sure rogues are little girls :)

Did it as a lvl 53 warrior pulled the guys outside one by one and charged inside full retaliation and kicked their sorry asses. The 59 guy is the only thing you should be aware of.

This was really easy :), i just pulled one at a time and killed them, then i put the barrel on the create :) The create etc is at 48,32, north WPL :)
