Kill 10 Boulderfist Brutes and 4 Boulderfist Magi, and return to Drum Fel in the Hammerfall outpost.

Description

The Boulderfists have a lair to the southwest of here towards the dwarven bridge, and, if I'm not mistaken, the maulers and magi there shall present to you a greater challenge--they have done so to us thus far.

Slay as many as you can and come to me in body when you are successful, or come to me in spirit when you fail. I shall give praise to your tenacity in battle either way.

These guys can be found around 54,75 (ish)

These guys hang out around a cave south of Hammerfall, east of the road that runs between Thandol Span and Refuge Pointe. All the mobs you need to kill can be found without going inside the cave.

Be careful of the Brutes. They have an Enrage move that makes them very slow but also lets them hit very hard. When their hands get a red glow to them, you can run away easily, as their movement speed is something like 10% of normal.

Also be on the lookout for an Ogremind Ring. It's a nice caster ring that tends to drop off these mobs.

they are just to the west of the cave. The drop rate for me was about 30%

Boulderfist Brute's are 35-36 mobs, their the Light Blue colored ones
Boulderfist Magus's are 36-37 mobs, their the normal skinned ones and cast frostbolt
They can both be found at (52,70) about [Southwest of Witherbark Village]

Also be sure to have the Guile of the Raptor quest: http://classicdb.ch/?quest=701 its nearby

If you have quests that are in Stromgard keep like Sigil of Strom and Foul Magics then go back to town and get the chain! The chain is located in the same place

btw - magus are also outside the cave, some of them are lvl 35, some 36 and up. easy for a shammy - just put strenght totem, magma totem and hit it with earth shock )

Same locations, they are far enough apart to take down easy as a level 35 rogue.
Kept stunning and Riposte, never died.

One of easier ones I have had to do :)

the mobs for this quest and the mobs for http://classicdb.ch/?quest=701 are in the southern most area of Arathi Highlands, east of the road leading into Wetlands. Hope this helps! Good luck all =)

There is a cave in the very southern portion of Arathi Highlands that have some ogres around it. Those are what you need to kill. This quest is known to be a level 38 quest, but you can find all that you need to kill in levels between 35-37.

i suggest if ur a low lvl that u do it as a group for the Magus are lvl 37-38 and cast magic

i was lvl 31 when i tried to do this quest and i had major difficulties on it
