Locate the Smokywood Pastures investigator that has gone missing in the snowy regions of the Alterac Mountains.

Description

Listen... not to shatter the magic of the season here, but Smokywood Pastures could use some assistance - the kind you adventuring types are known to give.

We're missing an important shipment of treats that was restocking us for the season, and now we're missing the agent of Smokywood Pastures that we sent out to the field to find it! Please - the shipment was last reported in the Alterac Mountains, and that's where our man went to look for it.

See if both are out there, safe and sound!

Go to the Ruins Of Alterac and go all the way to the south. You should see a cave on your map (still in the snowy part). South of that cave and a little to the west there are 3 skinny trees, he is right in the middle of them

When completing this quest chain you receive Winter Veil Disguise Kit.

Edit : Almost forgot, you get it one day after in the mail.

If you already have the Winter Veil Disguise Kit (from previous years), you get something else - my druid got the Winter's might enchant (http://classicdb.ch/?item=17725) and he's an enchanter.

Followed above directions. Also, when turning left, you are going south-west off of the road and heading into an area with lots of Yeti. The snowman is on the far side of that area.

This portion of the quest was simple, and painless. Snowman shows on your map as a yellow dot. It's the next step that is a pain.. just because it's so camped.

The greenich guy is a lvl 36 elite yeti, however he is VERY easy to beat. I solo'd him a lvl 38 on my rogue. He has a polymorph effect that transforms you into a snowman for about 3 seconds. Non healing classes just bring a healing pot and you'll be fine.

When you talk to the snowman, you will be asked to kill the Abomitable Greeech, who spawns randomly in the area where the snowman is. He respawns about every 5 mins. There is one spot that he spawns in more than others, close to the snowman, but could pop just about anywhere in the snowy area.

How do i start this quest? The guy dosent have a quest mark on him or do i find the snow man first? also whats the starting level to accept the quest?

I just took the FP from UC to Tauren Mill then went up the north road. Turned left and went into the snowy area and you'll notice the yellow dot showing the snowman before you reach the grassy/rocky area. He's in between 3 trees.

3300 experience at 50 level the abominable greench is north of the snowman at 35,72. Snowman gives 1650 exp at levle 50. The Abominable Greench Level 36 Elite was at 31,55, 30,63,.

3300 experience at 50 level the abominable greench is north of the snowman at 35,72. Snowman gives 1650 exp at levle 50. The Abominable Greench Level 36 Elite was at 31,55, 30,63, 32,49. 3300 exp for turning in the quest to kaymard copper at Ogrimar Smokywood Pastures Wagon in the valley of strength at 53,67. That is a total of 6600 exp.
