Hey, can you do Greatfather Winter a favor, um, little < boy / girl>?

Not to needlessly talk about myself in the third person, but Greatfather Winter has been at this all day and he could use a treat himself. Some gingerbread cookies and ice cold milk to wash them down with would really hit the spot. Think you could be a friend to the Greatfather and fetch some for me?

This was actualy done in winter 2004 as well. The Recipie is vender bought and low skill required (He also sells the egg nog recipie ^,^)

Spice can be found from the same goblin, Eggs from low level birds (lakeshire/westfall) and the milk can be bought from any inn. If you don't buy from players (unless the player is being truely giving) its a lot cheaper.

Learn Cooking.(ask a guard where the trainer is) Buy recipe. Learn recipe. Buy Holiday Spices. Get some Small Eggs. Goto a cooking fire. Use Cooking skill and make cookies!

Dont go buying milk from players with 2g. Get it from inn or a vendor. :)

The recipe can be purchased from the smokeywood pastures vendor just beside Greatfather Winter, as can the holiday spices. As for the small egg's I found a good drop rate (~90%) to be off the greater vultures in westfall. Quite a few of them roam east of sentinel hill. The milk can also be obtained from the innkeeper in westfall, and any other low level innkeeper.

In Stormwind near the Auction House there are 2 gnomes who sell the recipe&nbsp and the spices. I found the eggs on the AH.

So pretty easy

You have to make the cookies. The recipe is sold off one of the venders at the cart adjacent to Greatfather Winter.

The recipe is a level 1 cooking recipe, so you don't have to have worked your cooking up at all, just have trained in it. It requires small eggs (drop off mobs in newbie zones) and spices (vender bought).

You buy milk off numerous venders. General trade venders typically have it.

Another good place for small egg farming is Southern Redridge mountains where you will find about 10 of them flapping around ;) happy hunting!

As for any horde looking to gather eggs, they can be found, with a rather high drop rate, off any dragonhawks in eversong woods.

Also might I suggest checking your mail after handing in this quest as greatfather winter also sends you a nice package.

A while after you complete this quest you'll recieve a few token goodies in the mail from Greatfather Winter (holiday food of various different levels.)

I finished this quest which was pretty simple by doin this: first i bought the milk from the barmaid in the bar near the AH then i went to Westfall and killed fleshrippers or whatever they are called and they drop the eggs then i made the eggs into cookies and turn them in.

But im having some troubles finding where to start the other winter quests.
I have tried the goblins near greatfather winter and the goblin that controls the winter blaster, i even tried Great father winter himself and no quests can someone hep me please? Is there a lvl limit? cause I lvl 25.

Ok, so I feel like a Noob now. Have not played for about four months. Decided to play with my alt L12 dwarf. Went to Goldshire, Noob land, killed everything in site and no eggs! Lots of XP for a low level character. Please help this low level noob out!

(0) If you haven't gotten Cooking as a profession, any major city teaches it, ask the guards for exact location. At Orgrimmar where I went, it's in The Drag, there is a way up (on the left) to the upper level at the entrance from Valley of Strength. First door & sign.
(1) Buy the recipe for Gingerbread Cookie Recipe in any major city, I bought mine at Undercity's Trade Quarter (upper level). Right-click to learn. While there, might as well buy a stack of 5 Holiday Spices.
(2) Any General Trading merchant sells Ice Cold Milk (gives mana while seated, so spellcasters might even have some to spare). It also drops occasionally from monsters killed. Speaking of monsters killed, Little Eggs have been mentioned to drop.
(3) Open your Spells & Abilities Book & under the General tab, click on Cooking (cooked chicken icon). Create just like with any production profession.

The reward for this quest seems to be tied in to your profession skills.
My Herbalist received 10x Mageroyal
My Miner received 10x Copper Bar

I'm guessing that the poster who received the 4 Bolts of Linen Cloth was a Tailor.

So, it seems that whatever is in the Smokywood Pastures Gift Pack is related to your profession.
