AS OF 09/25/07 patch 2.2, one arcanite bar is needed, not 3. not sure when this happened but i bought 3 and went to turn quest in, only one left my inventory and i was left with 2.

Good if you got that far with the quest. i know its a real pain. after that you go to DM west and kill the boss there where you have to take out the elementals around the spires there. after that you will have to go do the ritual its fairly easy. you will have to summon it then watch your back because there will be waves of demons and imps and the demon that come out can be enslaved. there are felguards that come out too have a good priest and preferably do it with people you know or are in a guild with maybe even take another experianced warlock with you that will help your chances of not having to do it again. thats how i had it done although i did not have all the mats i had it summoned for me. after you defeat the waves you will have to take down a dreadsteed that comes through the portal. thats the final part in there then i belive you go turn the quest in then you get your new beautiful epic mount ! : ) goodluck

Although it sure would be neat, it is not actually possible. To bind the epic mount to you, you need to have this quest:

So far I spent some gold on this. i'm at this part in the quest and I have a friend that is a 300 alchemist and i'm just going to have him make me the bars and save myself 130g which is how much all 3 bars are on my server. so far I bought most of my mats and spent 250g.

Do you actually have to have the lodestone to do the quest to summon the Dreadsteed, or is it simply to perserve the Wheel, Bell, Parchment etc in case it fails?

Can anyone confirm that, upon copletion of the Imp in a Jar quest or whatever it's called, you can simply have another warlock that has the artifacts in question already just summon the circle for you so you can get the epic mount without buying the artifacts yourself?

I'm getting mixed signals as to whether this is possible or not. Is there a particular QUEST you need to summon the circle? Or do you just go somewhere with the artifacts and kill some horse and he drops a book that teaches you a spell or something? If there's a quest you need after 'arcanite' for summoning the horse itself, it means each warlock must spend the money on the artifacts for his or herself. If he just gives you a piece of paper telling you to go here and do this, you could "Hire" a Warlock that already has the artifacts to take you there and do it, right?

You maybe right about the undead epic looking cooler, but the deal is, you didn't quest for the undead mount, you bought it, like steinbrenner bought the yankees.&nbsp

The Dreadsteed is %^&*!en and cool, due to the fact you earn it by quesing for it.&nbsp So all that aside, the Dreadsteed > the bought mounts, 4TW

Ok, others have asked if we can skip this part, but no one replied to them.

I would like to know, because I only have 52 gold, and I would be hard pressed to get 3 arcane crystals for that kind of money *plus the 6 day wait it will entail*

So, would someone give an honest reply to this?

I screwed up this quest series by running out of Shadowy Potion while I was in Jaedenaar and Lord Banehollow attacked me. I killed him. Then realizsed I was stuck. I abandoned the quest but can't find where to get it started again.

The GM's won't help because they say there is an in-gamne hint.

PLEASE advise me where to pick this up again. I am level 70 and can't get a bird until I sort this mess out!

Another great option for us locks is to simply PvP till you hit Commander and you are then qualified for Dark War Steed Bridle for only 90g!&nbsp

Much easier, much more fun and omg..waaay easier on the pocketbook.

So it doesn't look as evil as the summoned mount but it does the job and as the game says.."This is a very fast mount"
