I appreciate people who post coordinates. I don�t use cosmos, and never will. But I have gone to the trouble of finding other coordinate mods so that the information people generously take the time to give here can be useful to me. It�s not always easy to explain the location of things based on nearby landmarks, and I don�t expect people who are being nice and spending their time to help me to have to take extra time to think of a way to explain things based on landmarks. The fact is, I benefit from the generosity of people who post coordinates, because I�m the one wanting something for nothing, if what they do isn�t good enough for me, the burden is on me to take the time and effort to install a mod or do whatever so that the information becomes useful.

That said, the people who take even more time to figure out a way to explain things based on landmarks as well as coordinates make things even easier.

Just my thoughts.

when you wander around the barrens, you will come across random empty kegs.&nbsp they are lying on their side and have a tap.&nbsp one i know of is behind camp t (behind the mountain the wind rider is standing in front of).&nbsp when you get the keg, left click on it in your bag and it will tell you to find sombody who knows about it.&nbsp this would be the brewmaster in ratchet.&nbsp go from there.

Doing the first part of this quest is not too bad, but the follow up is painful and unrewarding, and frankly a waste of time. All you get is some reputation (75) and a stack of 5 trogg ale

Ok head south past the turnoff to ratchet, to south barrens.

There are lots of level 19-21 thunder lizards with various names that drop the req item.

Finally found this--- a lot of "Stormsnouts" in the South barrens, around coordinates 50,53 (not far from the Raptor Grounds... between Gold Road and the mountains to the East before Northwatch Hold.)

Level 19 Stormsnout... EASY to kill as level 16 hunter solo, so don't worry about that. Dropped first kill.

Actually managed to take out a lvl 19 "Storm lizard" with my lvl 15 Hunter without any problems. It dropped the horn right there.

It seems from the posts, that we are talking about two differnt quests.&nbsp Why would be looking for a Horn, if we are working on the KEG quest? Curious - Maybe I'm&nbsp just tired.&nbsp In any case, it's easy to get to Ratchet without much trouble, let alone any town if you stay on the road.

It seems I started my quest differently. I was walking out in the middle of the barrens and happened to move my mouse over a barrel labeled as "Chen's Empy Key"...aparantly a quest starting item. Started the ques,t found the guy in Ratchet, that's it.

Once you turn in the Quest to the brewmaster he give you another quest where you have to get 5 Lion Tusks, 5 Plainstrider kidneies, and 1 Thunderlizard horn.

You get the Tusks from killing lions, the Kidneies from and plainstrider, and the horn from the thunderlizards or any other lizard in the southern Barrens

Found the keg directly behind Camp Taurajo, went and found Brewmaster Drohn in Ratchet right between the green roofed round building and another.

i found the keg at the following locs:
the tower near grom'dol farm
the harpies area northwest of xroads
near the graveyard by camp t
thorn hill, near xroads
the sludge fen

AND NONE OF THEM DROPPED THE QUEST
must be bugged.

-35 druid, getting org rep up for a wolf mount. or trying to, anyway.
wish i could get that keg.

I found the keg(its a lootable item, looted same way as a chest) at the base of a tree in the 16-18 harpies camp NE of crossroads (near the lower tree marker on the map)

I have the keg, I have found the brewmaster in Ratchet but he will not talk to me, even though he has a yellow ? above his head. What am I supposed to do?

Also there is a keg at the razorquilboars camp under Thorn Hill.

I also found the Chen's Keg in Grol'dom (sp?) Farm NE of Crossroads. The keg was just outside the the tower east of the farm itself.
