Noggle's Last Hope

Beetix Ficklespragg at Cenarion Hold in Silithus wants you to gather 3 Stonelash Pincer Stingers, 3 Stonelash Flayer Stingers and 3 Rock Stalker Fangs.

Description

Blasted! The antidote didn't work. Noggle must've been stung by one of the stronger creatures in the far south.

I'm going to need you to go there and get me some more samples, <name>. The good news is that since their poison is stronger I won't require as many. The bad news is that there are more kinds of poisonous creatures crawling around the southern area so you'll have to draw from more sources.

Go south from 62.6 68.7 till 64.3 74.5
U'll find each type of monster you need.
Beginning with yellow scorpids ( look out for wandering dregde crusher) followed by stoneflash flayer and rock stalkers.

Stonelash flayer stingers drop from blue scorpions.
Stonelash princer stingers drop from yellow scropions.
Rock Stalker fangs drop from brown spiders.
i found a good group around the horde encampment 48,68 and south. Also by 62,66 to 65,77

All of these can be easily found around the horde encampment at 51.1, 68.2. (Note to alliance: Around that area. Those coordinates are inside the encampment!) where you turn in the silithyst powder (If you're horde). Do this with the second part of "Securing The Lines" to save time.

You don't have to go near the horde encampment. They should be easy to locate in the southern half of the zone.

I took the road south out of Cenarion Hold - and the pincers and crushers were on the east side.&nbsp I kept going east & found the other mobs.

Found the crushers easier than the strikers to kill.

They're blue colored and should be all over the place. Just follow the road south and you'll see some.

The drop rate for the pincers was 100% for me! the frayers was about 3 out of 5! The only ones the caused me trouble were the rock stalkers! had to kill 10-12 before i got the 3 items i needed! Overall the drop rate was ok! I've seen a lot worse!

Found the pincers around 42, 57.

Found the flayers and rock stalkers around 45, 28.

i went on to loc 40,80 as posted above, and noticed 4 level 60 NPC's just standing there.

Here's a tip:

Pull the damn scorpion or spiders and run to those NPC's... They will help you kill it!
Sit back and enjoy 4 level 60's beating up the mob, but beware, because U need to tank it.

There are some Flayers and small Spiders around 38,77, which is also where several Cenarion guards are. I pulled the mobs back to this spot and stood back and let the guards kill it. Saves some time seeing as how this quest can consume quite a bit.

For the scorpids I got 100% drop rate off them around 52.64
The spiders I also got 100% drop rate at 49.68

For people without coordinates it's right by the horde camp.

Poison Note: Spiders put a poison on you that inflicts 3 damage
Scorpids have a stackable poison that does 39 damage

Cenarian Circle quests are mainly for the rep, not the rewards. When you get your rep up to revered or exhalted, then you get the really good rewards. Stay focused on why your doing these. This is a marathon, not a sprint. And if you doubt this, check the price in your AH for Cenarian Herb bage. 20 slotters are going for 50g on my server. The pattern required friendly faction. The 24 slotter requires Revered

It has been my experience throughout every level, the droprate is determined by your level and the quest level.

If I am a level or two below the quest,the droprate sucks.

I go back when I am the same level as the quest and voila! perfect droprates.

My observation.

The prev post is spot on, with the exception of Pincers (in my very lmited experience). On my run, the locs for the mobs with the most drops are:

Stonelash Pincer - 39,52
Stonelash Flayer - 45,80
Rock Stalker - 40,80

One of the worst droprates of items I have ever seen. I've killed a good dozen of each of them and I only have one pincer stinger.
