Noggle's Lost Satchel

Retrieve Noggle's Satchel from the mountains in the south of Silithus and return it to him at Cenarion Hold.
Noggle's Satchel

Description

Where am I? Where's my bag? *gasp* I must've lost it while fleeing from Deathclasp, the giant scorpid. In my rush to escape I walked right into a nest of stonelash flayers.

The satchel I was carrying had all sorts of rare reagents in it. Without them, me and Beetix won't be able to make the potions that Cenarion Hold needs. I'm too weak to get up yet, but I can make it worth your while if you bring back my reagents.

I ran into Deathclasp in the southern mountain range, behind Bronzebeard's camp.

Follow the road up the hill, south of bronzebeard encampment. Bronzebeard encampment is in the middle of the map, most south.

Noggle's Satchel is located in in southern Silithus near the Bronzebeard Encampment in the same area where Deathclasp (Level 59 Elite) and his two Stonelash Flayer (Level 57) companions reside.

For cosmos users, here are your cordinates.

/tloc 44,91

This quest may or may not be easy for you, cause all you have do is run in, grab his yellow bag (which takes about 3 seconds) and run out, to complete the quest.

I was able to do it as a level 57 hunter without agro'ing them. Rogues may find this easy to do as well, but I am unsure about anyone else who is under my level. Their agro' radiuses are bigger and might agro' Deathclasp by accident.

Good luck.

Its exactly located where Deathclasp is too.

As a rogue or druid its easy to stealth to the Satchel and take it fast when Deathclasp is out of aggro range.

Guess as class without stealth too, just run to it when Deathclasp walks up the hill.

The respawn on this is kinda slow! My guildies and I had to wait through 2 more respawns of Deathclasp before the satchel reappeared.

There is a path just behind the camp that leads up to Deathclasp.

This quest is relatively simple. The only trick is to opening it without aggroing the elite & two adds. If you follow them up the mountain, just behind their aggro radius, you can open the satchel from max range without any problems. Make sure you shift-click while opening, though, just in case. That way you can open it, then get out of there.

Wait until the scorpids etc are as far up the hill as possible while staying just out of agro range, then dive in, grab the bag (which is on the southern side of the path and easy to see) with a <SHIFT> click to pickup the item quickly, fire up a shield if you have one and run!

Worked beautifully for me (55 pally). Lost most of my health but made it without having to take on any monsters. Without a shield you can grab it, die, res and hand in.

This is way too easy. LOL.

In my case the bug-thing wasn't the problem, I ninjad past it without aggroing. The real problem were the two night elf rogues who ganked me FOUR TIMES while I was trying to do that simple quest. I hate rogues. Passionately. Especially Night Elf ones. Sorry. I'm a very bitter troll.

There is a path behind the Bronzebeard encampment leading up to the back and Deathclasp. Work your way up slowly, or you might accidently aggro him.

As people have previously said, wait for him to take his buddies around the corner and ninja the bag. I managed to do it without aggroing him whatsoever =3

Easy quest, done as a 57 Mage =3

This is almost precisely south of Cenarion Hold against the mountains exactly behind the Broonzebeard encampment.&nbsp

You'll know you are there when you see 2 to 3 59 elite scorpions.&nbsp Deathclasp is one of them

Basically head towards Bronzebeard's Encampment, theres a little path behind it that leads up onto the mountain and the satchel is right there at 44,91!

STOP with the bragging bull&*!@ no one cares ffs! Give people the info they actually come here for!

Hope that helps :)

This is what I did. Told my pet to stay on one of the peaked little hills that the scorpid king (heh) doesnt come close to.. Hit my Aspect of the Cheetah. Followed them up the hill. Looted the bag and ran, hit follow for my pet and jumped down to the camp site. It was as easy as pie.
