Dagger of Veiled Shadows

Bring 1 Qiraji Spiked Hilt, 2 Vermillion Idols, 5 Gold Scarabs and 5 Clay Scarabs to Warden Haro in Silithus. You must also attain Exalted reputation with Cenarion Circle to complete this quest.

Description

The Qiraji and their servants wield items made with the rarest and finest materials: bones from gargantuan ancient creatures, gems from the depths of the earth, metals pure and strong.

Just the sight of Qiraji artifacts fills me with an urge to practice my craft with their shattered and smelted pieces. Prove your allegiance to the Circle, <name>, and I will make you a powerful weapon from the finest Qiraji materials.

This quest is available to rogues only and awards the weapon piece of the Emblems of Veiled Shadows.

Emblems of Veiled ShadowsThis quest requires the Qiraji Spiked Hilt, which can drop from any of the later bosses in the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj, as well as idols and scarabs which can either drop off trash or can be found inside Scarab Coffers.

Even though it is obtainable at any reputation level, players must reach Exalted with the Cenarion Circle before being able to complete this quest.

I know it's epic, I understand it's not the sort of thing you complete the second you hit lv60 either, but hitting exalted with CC just kills all potential fun in it

Its just 2 much time to get exalted + getting the all the scarabs and the idol is much doing AQ20 or much gold + Spiked hilt is not easy to get + buying papers... so its MUCH grinding and MUCH gold and MUCH AQ20

I only see this dagger as a side reward from getting exalted, I am after Earthstrike more.&nbsp And doing the combat, logistics, and tactical quests only make the rep grind that much faster.

DPS-wise this dagger seems to be better than Core-Hound-Touth for Combat-Dagger-PvE-Rogues. Of course there are much better daggers in game than this one.

Personally I think this should only require revered rep. I am not a big fan of grinding any rep, for in raids like MC and BWL you don't need to grind stupid rep to get yourself good gear. Nonetheless if thats the way that Blizzard wanna do things now, fine but don't make it exalted. I am on my way to turning in my Primal Hakkari Aegis for my Zandalar chest, and that only requires revered. Why then would the highest rep required piece for AQ20 be exalted and not revered like in ZG?

Maybe people don't agree with this but personally I think it makes no sense other than perhaps the fact that you can't grind rep outside ZG but you can with AQ. Nonetheless they must think we all have enough time on our hands to grind rep outside of AQ, I certainly don't and being that it's boring as hell I don't see myself doing it anyway. Ahh well i'll just get a Fang of the Faceless and not bother with this mediocre dagger.

Yep, its suxx compared to exalted rewards of other classes. But, you still can get Earthstrike once you reach exalted, to bad CC rep gain is even slow then AD... and you need to do like hundred of *!@#y quests.

if your guild doesnt do aq often , grinding reputation to cc is pain in the ass and need lots of time.Once you are exalted this %^&* dagger rly dont interest me :) Earthshaker is the THING!

If you rly need a offhand dagger get fang of faceless instead of it.Nearly same...

Isnt that worth. Nice finally a rogue-quest for epic weapon, but not that worth to fight for exalted with CC, to get that weapon, imo.
