Tribes at War

Kill 6 Bristleback Water Seekers, 12 Bristleback Thornweavers and 12 Bristleback Geomancers and return to Mangletooth at Camp Taurajo in the Barrens.

Description

You must strike my enemies. <snort> You must help Mangletooth and the Razormane by weakening the Bristlebacks. Both tribes are very spiritual--tied to the earth and its power. <snort> It gives us strength in all things... especially war.

If you want to find out who really causes Thork <snort> and the Horde such anguish, then help Mangletooth! You attack the spiritual leaders of the Bristlebacks to the north; weaken them so the Razormanes can defeat them and rule the Barrens.

To save some time, this quest can easily be done with "Consumed By Hatred" (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=899), as the mobs for this quest drop the quest items for "Consumed By Hatred".

Turning in this quest leads to https://classicdb.ch/?quest=5052, where you turn in the Blood Shards you found. First you turn in one, and then you can turn in blood shards for nice buffs. All the quests can be found if you look up Blood Shards (https://classicdb.ch/?item=5075#M0zc).
The buffs you get are great for grinding, and most of them last 30 minutes.
Turning in the first Blood Shard also leads to Betrayal from Within(https://classicdb.ch/?quest=879).

For those w/o coords mods...
The Waterseekers and Thornweavers can be found north of Camp T. (just run straigt up, you'll start seeing those weird thornish things that are always around bristlebacks. Or, you can go northeast of Camp T to find all 3 of the mobs.

Mages be cautious. The Geomancers' fireballs hit pretty hard (95+ dmg) and they throw up a fire shield that makes them immune to all fire damage for a period of time.

Personally I prefer to do this quest before I go to war with Northwatch and the escort inside the Hold.

Depending on the solo abilities of your class against multiple mobs (You will be facing groups of three and maybe more at Northwatch) I'd say the buffs you're able to get for your multitude of blood shards after you complete this one, are extremely useful when throwing yourself into the fray at Northwatch Hold.

Just go North of Camp Taurajo, lots of them.&nbsp I was actually doing Consumed by Hatred, gathering 60 tusks and forgot I had this quest and managed to kill all the water seekers I needed within a few minutes, it's almost all you see.

Anyhow, just north, within eyesight of the camp.

There are three quests here that can be completed for the time to do of one

Location (52,54)

Quest: Tribes at War (Kill 6 Bristleback Water Seekers, 12 Bristleback Thornweavers and 12 Bristleback Geomancers)
Quest: Consumed by hatred (Bring 60 Bristleback Quilboar Tusks to Mankrik at the Crossroads.)

and if you keep the bloodshards you get when you kill the Bristlebacks and complete Tribes at war you have the required objects to complete

did these quests simultaneously.

tribes at war
consumed by hatred
blood shards
thunder lizard (hunter)
thunderhawk (hunter)

the quillboars were fun to kill. didn't drop any green item. but they did drop wool and other vendor junk.

i finished these quests in a hour or so. all in all not too bad.

Minimum level is 14... but the mobs vary between levels 16 and 19 so it's probably best to wait to finish this one.

At (54,44), there is an abundance of Waterseekers, and Thornweavers, but a very small amount of Geomancers. However, if you go south from (54,44) there are some geomancers,

This quest IS recieved by a quilboar in a cage at Camp Taurajo, and also turned in to him as well.

Solo'd 22 hunter, finished under 5 minutes.

This quest is much easier with a pet, Soloed as a lvl 21 blood elf warlock.

But i think you can do it on 17+, The mobs dosent have very much hp.
