Description

I figured out how to use Zanzil's mixture with stout to make a powerful libation. A Fool's Stout. I think it'll be just what Kravel needs, but try it out and let me know how it works.

And <name>, don't keep this stuff too long without using it. Zanzil's mixture has a weird effect on the stout's yeast, kicking it into high gear. So it won't stay fresh forever.

There is a bug with this quest. If you accept it, you'll get a quest timer as well as a timer on the item. If you log out, the quest timer continues to tick away but the item timer does not. If you then log on later after the quest timer has expired, you will find that the item timer hasn't expired yet and the quest will still show as done (not failed, giving the impression that you can complete the quest). However, if you then go to Krazel, you will not be able to talk to him.

Wouldn't offer me this quest when I did the Return to Booty Bay turn-in at level 40 [:cry:]

Maybe a level 41 or 42 minimum

Although at the end when u return to Booty Bay, he does say if u want to do it again, He will send u to collect more "Zanzil's Mixtures".. that is all.. He doesn't have any quests.. So, maybe it is something left over from before a patch or something.. But it means nothing

Quest works fine.. 2 hours is MORE than enough time to get it done.. it could be done in 30 minutes if u have a mount..

For alliance, take ship in BB to Ratchet and ride the rest of the way..

And don't know horde routes, but since Barrens and Thousand Needles are&nbsp horde territory, there might be a FP or something that could dropship u pretty close..

At level 40 I was not able to get this quest after turning in "Back to Booty Bay" (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=1118). I am guessing that you have to complete "Zanzil's Secret" (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=621) first, although that quest will ruin your Bloodsail reputation for those interested.

I completed this quest at level 42 and got 3750 XP from it. There was no reputation adjustment.

There also seems to be another bug, in that if you abandon it the questgiver seems very reluctant to give it back. Sometimes the exclamation mark is there, sometimes it is not. To be safe, you should not accept the quest until you are prepared to do it. The bug does not happen to everyone, though.

Best way to do this one is take the ship from Booty Bay to Ratchet
and from there fly to Tanaris and walk to Kravel Koalbeard.

This did not work, and I did not fail it.&nbsp I went to BB, got the Fools Stout, went to Shimering Flats, got the pitcrew drunk, got the message to take to BB, got quest to collect 12&nbsp Zanzil's Mixture,&nbsp got more Fool's Stout (quest item), but no quest, and nobody at shimering flats is responding.

Bugged, plain and simple. Those that say it isn't haven't followed the whole sequence.

I just did the quest less than a half hour ago, and everything was fine.&nbsp Spoke to Kravel, and then the gnome crew chief, and got them all drunk.

Easy XP, as long as you have the flight paths or mount to make the trip quick.

I have no idea why anything thinks this quest is consistantly bugged.&nbsp No one I have spoken to on the Emerald Dream server has ever had any problems with it.

OK, I think a good point was made.. U collected Zanzil's Mixture and it went into this barrel of Fool's Stout.. Stout probably being some kind of alcohol libation.. Anyway in order for u to technically do the quest again, u would have to get more Zanzil's Mixture.. AND, thankyou very much, I remember collecting all that Zanzil's Mixtures and DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT.. Want to do that again.. That was some of the most hardcore grinding I have ever done for one quest.. OMG..

So there.. BTW, I am doing the quest right now.. So I will post again on the results of said quest

I just completed this by returning to Crank Fizzlebub and giving him the report. He just says if you ever want any more stout , he'll have you get more mixture, but he does NOT give you another quest to do it.&nbsp Maybe this is only since the last patch, but that's what happened with me.

take ship from BB ---> ratchet&nbsp then griph from ratchet ---> gadgetzan, then run to racetrack.

took 11 minutes

edit: by the way, the quest with timer are 2 not 1, first you have to take the fool's stout from BB to kravel at 77,77 in thousand needles

second you take the quest "Get goblin drunk" from him and you have other 120 min to reach the Goblin pit boss at 79,76 (woa that's far far away, I wonder how I'll get there in less then 2 hours :D )

after doing so you can go back to kravel and take the quest "report back to fizzlebub", wich will take you again to Booty bay.

start at STV, take boat to rachet, fly to tanaris and run to 1000 needles, took me 15 minutes, would ahve taken less but i missed boat ><

Apparently you must also complete Zanzil's Secret before you can get this quest. I turned in Back to Booty Bay, had *not* yet done Zanzil's Secret, and did not receive this quest from Crank. He muttered some hint about Zanzil, which I did not take down, but I took it to mean that I needed to do Zanzil's Secret first (which he also assigns).

I beleive that since this is a timed quest, 2hrs ... it is providing you a means to be able to get a keg of the stout in case you were not smart enough and go back to Shimmering Flats right away (time limit expired there for no more stout) or for some reason you cant make it to the shimmering flats within 2 hours.

With 2 hours you really can't fail, I took my sweeeeet time and it took me 20 mins. For it to take 2 hours you'd probably be running from Booty bay to grom , then taking the zepp to orgrimmar and then running all the way to the racetrack. Which is probably not that case and probably wouldn't take that long anyway.
