Find Bishop DeLavey in Stormwind Keep.

Description

Excuse me, < sir / madam>. Bishop DeLavey asked me to approach adventurers that might be able to help him with a delicate matter.

If you could quietly head to Stormwind Keep and speak to him at your earliest convenience, I'm sure he would appreciate your help. Again, please be discreet. It is a matter of some importance.

This quest is approximately 1 hour long.

Don't be put off by this.&nbsp This quest in total gives you about 15-20k experience, 1g 30s at end, and a +3 strength +7 stamina ring **Jaina's Signet Ring**.

This quest is really fun, apart from the travelling at earlier steps.

In total you will be fighting 3 mobs.&nbsp 3-4 Level 26s at about step 5.&nbsp 3 Level 27s at step 10ish.&nbsp And then 3 level 34s I think, at final part.

Easy to do solo at around lvl 32-34, but just as simple to drag a higher level char to kick ass for you =D

If you ever fail a part of the quest, simply speak to the guy you last spoke to, to return to that part of the quest.

I have a guide on how to find your way from step 11 to complete the quest posted in step 11 of this guide.&nbsp

ok, i failed the Private Hendel part like alot of others that have posted.&nbsp I did the same things after abandoning the quest, i backtracked to literally every single NPC in the quest line and no one would talk to me. Finally i came back to Private Hendel, it had been several hours since my attempt to kill him and now he has a exclamation mark over his head.&nbsp Clicked him, and it goes to the part where you accept the quest and have to kill him.&nbsp So for all those that are stuck or have abandoned the quest and didn't know how to get back in the quest line again....there ya go...just wait a while and come back after abandoning, and he'll be ready to fight again.&nbsp :)

Well after running all the way to find this Hendel fellow, I found him and then like someone already said, killed him but in turn was killed by his guard&nbsp buddies.&nbsp Mission failed...

I came bacl and waited for Hendel to respawn, but...he didn't......8-(&nbsp Not sure what to I thought I'd abandon the quest after backtracking like others have suggested.&nbsp No Avail....

I might try heading back there, as its been a few days now since I abandoned the quest, maybe he back...otherwise the quest could be lost?

Suggestions?

Solo'd with lvl 32 priest.&nbsp Tried a swiftness potion to pull guys to tower but only guards followed.&nbsp Immediately abandoned quest and ! appeared instantly.&nbsp The fights in this line of quests are easy with a priest - just fear to buy time and focus all damage on the key target.&nbsp The guards are just pests and will quit pounding you once the target is about to drop.

One other thing, be patient for the archmagi to appear in Sentry Tower.&nbsp I was impatient and had to keep running back and forth until he appeared.&nbsp You MUST go into the tower and wait for him.&nbsp This will save you the 1/2 hour I wasted.

i did this entire quest chain as a level 60 just for the rep. there was plenty given out along the way but the last quest in the chain gave out 500 rep with all alliance factions. totally sweet!

I was able to get this Quest when I turned lvl 28, was grey to me at Lvl27 so I can agree with the Level requirement. I have a fellow Night Elf friend who cannot get the quest and he is Lvl35.

Does anyone know if there is a Stormwind reputation requirement?

I was allmost done when i was trying to kill Private Hendel I die and now i can't kill him again or get the quest.

I tried to kill Hendel.I did it (50% hit points) but his fellow guards suceeded in killing me. So the quest failed. I returned then in jainas proudmoure tower,but the mage didnt give me the quest again!So i decided to abandon it. I returned in Stormwind to <<retake>> the same quest but i couldnt!I think that this q&nbsp could give me much more reputation than i could ever imagine.BUT N O&nbsp W im desperate&nbsp an dneed a solution!&nbsp HELP MEEEEEEE&nbsp -Vorgiroth cries-

somehow, I lost track of the quest in Menethil.&nbsp I think I forgot to pick up the next part after I killed the guy in the bar.&nbsp

I tracked it down now, at level 51... a bit late.

I failed the quest initially and got killed by Private Hendel.&nbsp However, after you "fail" the quest, you can just talk to Private Hendel again and try it another time.&nbsp It worked for me. I didn't even have to abandon the quest.

I initially failed this one and the one at menethil but could redo it when i approached the last NPC to give me the "subdue" quest.

He's not on the coordinates given earlier... he's at.... 73,78.... just go to the bird (hypogondyr or somethin) transport platform, en jump into the water, you'll find good ol' Jorgen straight accross of your jump location fishing... what else would a diplomat do? :P

I tried to kill Handel and draw the whole group to the nearby tower(the guards take care of them hehe). Handel didn't follow but stayed at the camp and then went green on me. The quest was stuck. I couldn't kill him so I abandoned the quest. Still didn't fix it. I came back hours later and Handel had a yellow ! above his head so I was able to finish the quest this time.

I lost the quest too after I abandon the quest that took me to kill hendel, I was going to wait for someone else to help me, and wanted their neat buff agian. When you loss it, go to the tall middle tower in Theramore, this has the lady Jaina who is the ruler of theramore. Go all the way up to the top of this tower and you'll see "Archmage Tervosh" I got the quest I "lost" from him, although I didn't get my neat buff agian :-(

Do this quest...it's great. You run around talking to people (fit it in with other quests of course) At the end (or rather, the middle) you subdue a lvl 35 and gain 6450 xp, 1G30S and a signet ring! I'm going to continue it when I'm ready for the second part. Great!

this questline is not finished it leads to the tru king of stormwind on the island of Alcaz in Dustwallow Marsh (north). Don't venture there if not in a party @ lvl 60, those hydra's guarding the place are pretty unbeatable otherwise...

i managed to reach the king with my paladin, didnt took a screenshot though, but here you have a screenshot of some of my buddies.
