Dashel is found in the Trade district of Stormwind City, in the backalley. He's a dwarf standing in a corner. Once this dialogue is initiated, he turns targettable and begins to fight you. He'll have 2 friends join in, from behind you. Just get Dashel down to roughly 30% health and he and his buddies will stop fighting. Best to have some friends around for "crowd control", but be sure to focus on Dashel, as he's all that matters.

It seems if you deal with Dashel first then he calls off the other guys that are there attacking you. When I did the quest I couldn't actually kill him he turned friendly again when I got him down to about 20%. You can kill the guys that attack you with him but I don't see any need. After that you talk to him again to continue the chain.

I walked up just as someone else was fighting his guards, helped him kill them, watched him finish quest and leave, then talked to Dashel. He gave me the opening text for this part of the quest, but the guards were already lying there dead, so nothing happened. Now every time I go back there Dashel is standing around with his grey question mark, and if I talk to him I get the "sorry I called you stupid" text that's supposed to come when I finish defeating him . . . but I never can seem to trigger the actual quest!

Anyone else have this trouble?

28 Priest here.

All i did was sheild up just prior to him going spaz. Threw some shadow word pain on his ass followed by some mind blast. By the time my sheild wore off (which was about 4 seconds after casting it - those 3 mongrels are tough) I ran. By the time all 3 gave up chasing me i ran back to start again but the quest was complete.

In my case i didn't kill the angry dwarven hair-ball but got him down to 1/3 health.

Still got it done.

Worth a shot if you're low and can't find a group.
You obviously don't have to kill him.

I did this as a level 29 priest. I shielded myself right before the battle, and had to shield myself once more. I had to take 3/4 of his health away before he called off his goons.

Stonefist and his two guards are lv26 non-elite. If you are not confident to take on 3 lv26 together, here is what you can do. Talk to Stonefist to get the quest update, then his 2 guards and stonefist will fight you. Run outside that square, they will not chase you outside that little square.

Come back, you'll notice the 2 guards are shown hostile to you (red) and stonefist is actually neutral (yellow). so you can take out those 2 guards first. Stonefist will literally stand there and watch you killing his 2 buddies. After finishing these 2 guards, then you can move on to stonefist.

even if you cannot take on 2 lv26 together, you can run outside the square. and when you come back, you'll notice stonefist stands quite far away from his 2 guards. So i suppose it's possible to fight stonefist without aggroing those 2 guards.

SW is full of players who are looking for things to do. send a tell to general channel, 10 out of 10 there is someone who's willing to help out a quick quest like this.&nbsp

i did it really easily with level 30 mage.

if you're mage use mana shield and blast the dwarf a few times.

use fire blast and cone of cold for some instant damge and you should be fine.

This quest was quite easy, I'm a 31 mage.
Once they start attacking you, round em up into a little bunch and frost nova them. They should all be frozen then you can sit back and either flamestrike or blizzard them. If you flame strike, right after you flame strike rush at them and cone of cold immediatly followed by continuous Arcane Explosions and you should beat them no problem.

i got this quest at lvl 29 warlock
i got him down to 50% health, he told his guards to stop, but they kept going, i had to sacrafice my voidwalker, fear one of the guards, summon my voidwalker again, kill one guard, feared the other one again while i used life tap and killed the guard when he came back
it was kinda hard
i now know why its meant to be a lvl 31 quest

I was innocently traipsing thru the area when someone started this quest as I came in. For some reason, Dashal and his lackeys came after ME! Kilt me dead, my wee 13 level self! Please warn folks in /general that you are about to start this quest. I was very put out to come back in Goldshire, and not enough coin to fix my armor. ~Jozy/Durotan

When I got into the fight with this bunch I ran too far which made them all run back and the thughs dissapeared. I came back to dwarf again to fight but he didn't offer me a fight, instead the quest was finished and I was to report to Trias character again. Is this a bug ?

Easy enough as a 32 mage used a food buff and a minor +armor scroll, ignored the thugs, and arcane missle'd Dashal into submission.

One note, though: This will PVP flag you.
