Maintain your reputation with the Gelkis, and bring 10 Crude Charms to Uthek the Wise in the Gelkis Village in Desolace.

Description

The Kolkar centaurs think their magic is strong. They do not know magic! They would not know magic if it bit them!

You will show them their magic is weak. Go to the Kolkar to the northeast and kill them. Take their charms. Bring me the charms and I will throw them in the fire and laugh!

The kolkar village is approximately at tloc 69,49

for people who hasn't cosmos is near the centre-east part of desolace

after 20mobs i got them all BUT in the beginning i was killing the wrong centaur. you need the KOLKAR centaur, same ones as the ear quest

My drop rate was very good (4/22/07). Killed about 25 for the 10 drops. The first nine dropped within the first 20, then the last charm took about 5 kills. It took 9 minutes total.

This quest is called "Raid on the Kolkar"
so you need to kill the Kolkars in that Kolkar Village.
NOT in Magram Village. They do not drop those items!

I only had to drop 14 of them to get all 10 charms and after having to kill more Magram's than i could shake my stick at i was happy as Larry!

Great quest i recommend it to everyone.

And after selling off all the drops i got (i'm a priest i needed NONE of them) i made 4 gold out of the whole deal. With the lvl increase i'd say one of the most productive quests i've done...yet )

In the 30 minutes it took to do this quest, the charms only dropped of Kolkar maulers or scouts. They might drop off the other Kolkars but at a much lower rate.

For Cosmos users the coords are: 69, 42. Kolkars are easy to kill here and the charms drop frequently.

Actually the charms drop from the maulers and windchasers as well, i got more from the maulers than the centaurs

just to clear up any confusion, you dont have to stick with the mobs called "kolkar centaur"

you can kill any of the kolkar "classes" (battle lord, scout, etc), as theyre all of the centaur "race", and of the kolkar tribe
