The Tattered Manuscript is located in the Splithoof Crag camp north east a tad of Freewind Post. Inside the cave at 43,32 you will find a Damaged Chest. Inside there will be the quest item. The centaurs around it are only level 27, grey to me at lvl 35.

i tried the quest and followed as planned but after i captured the soul and returned i could not get my felhunter. I abandoned my quest and deleted my quest items, so that I could start over and I cant get the quest back. Does this mean I cant have a Felhunter, I want one so bad. What can I do to get the quest back?

Where is the first part of the book? Do the murlocs in Soutshore drop it?

I just found the book thingie by the murlocs. I cant see what problems youre having Oo . Im lvl 30 affliction specced and Ie asily soloed the murloc camp with my succubus. Smackin out life siphon on all that aggroed had succu sleep one and dotted them all as well as draining hp. But I managed to pull some of them one by one so you guys just need to practicie your pulling skill. Didnt die once.

EDIT: Just did the second part as well. Easy. Even easier was that 2 alliance locks where there and instead of ganking on site we went through it together. Props to those guys :)

coords are 27/72, it is a book thats NOT IN A CHEST, but on the floor in that 1 camp, it is very hard to see, hope this helps

I recommend swimming to the next to the last camp AWAY from the Southshore. Bring along VW and kill the few murlocs that you come across in the water. If you try to pull them one by one when you're on land and take each camp one at a time, it will take forever, plus you'll die a lot. So, you're in the water, mouse over the camps from the water until you come across the one called "moldy tome" or "tome of cabal" [I can't remember which]. You should be able to pull one or two murlocs [the ones away from the other ones] to the water and kill them in there. You'll be left with three that are standing a little ways away from the camp. Send in VW BEFORE YOU GO IN to distract them, grab the tome, sacrifice your VW, then either escape through the forest, or swim back the way you came. It's MUCH quicker than taking on each camp individually until you find it. The key is to mouse over the camps from the water. I was a 31 level Human Warlock and when I did it that way, got it done quick.

I tried to get the felhunter, but party helping me killed it before I got a shot off so I didn't get credit for defeating it. I figured I had to start all over again becuase it didn't show quest complete. I still had the tome of cabal but couldn't get Strahad to do the circle again. I got disgusted, abandoned the quest and now cooled down. I have the Tome still, but at what point of the quest do I need to try to pick it back up again so I can do it the right way? I checked with the library guy in IF and with Strahad..where do I try now?

The chest is in the cave as mentioned before.&nbsp I looked all over before I realized it doesn't look like a normal "chest".&nbsp It is brown and is somewhat difficult to see.
