It dropped for me instantly as well, so I guess we are all so very very lucky, hehe.. These mobs wander around. 53.83 is where I killed mine. Good luck.

There were couple of Nether Maidens I killed who were linked as they roamed around a structure just west of the coords where I found the Burning Blade Summoner and his Imp Minion.&nbsp If one is heading south toward 50,77 just look to the right of the raised area with the pillars and the female mobs.

This was an easy, EASY quest, mostly the usual hassle of travelling with a quick kill (or four in my case, but it was a target rich location) and a tedious return trip.

go 50,75 and see orc warlock kill him and take orb

i found the orb around 79,78, in an area called Shadowbreak Ravine. There were 38-40s around the area, and it is located right behind the magram village in a little path that goes through the mountains. i got the orb from the first summoner that i killed. easy to get the orb, but i haven't tried to kill the 40 elite from tabetha yet... we'll see.

This is a nice quest to do along with the "Reclaimers" quest chain from Nigel's Point in Desolace. If you have to be in Mannoroc Coven killing things anyway, may as well get credit for the Felhounds, the succubus thingies, and the doomwarder captains. You can't really get in there without finding a few anyway.

For those of you who don't use coordinates, if you're taking the road south from Nigel's Point, and west to the coven, there's a barren area north of the coven where it's pretty easy to pull out a few mobs and then get a summoner. I happened to get one alone with another demon, but this area is not too hard if you have a potion to ward off shadow magic (grave moss is needed, for you alchemists), and if you use your fire shield for the summoner's imp and your frost ward for some of the succubus-like demons who throw frost bolts. Counterspell works on the felhounds and ought to work on the others just fine as well.

Like everyone else I got this on the first drop, and had little trouble as a level 39 frost mage. It was hanging around for the other quest that was hard.&nbsp Will see about the next quest (that everyone's talking about here for some reason) next!

First time also. Just a long way to Desolace, but when you're there, no problem with the monster.

Yah I'm pretty sure that it's a 100% drop.

The only thing that sucks is that it's a long trek.

Quit trying to solo the elite demons and just go to 50,77 and kill the orc. Done and end of story! Return the Orb and get your skill!

I found one walking around 50,76 and got the orb on my first kill as a lvl 36 fire mage

I died too while trying to slay the demon. And the time ran out.
I was afraid I had to get the item again, but as that part of the quest is done, you just have to delete the quest and retake it from Tabetha, you wont have to get a new orb.

The reason why I died was because I ahven't read what it was all about. So I took it as a lvl 38 on my own.
Then I saw the lvl 40 Elite... Nothing else to do than to just give it a go. Got him to 15% at first try, not bad I think.
Second try I brought another mage lvl 38, and the killing of the demon was piece of cake.

78,78 summoner...2 shotted him at lvl 40. took 20seconds to do quest. location is 78,78 remember that its so easy to do and think i could have done this at lvl 37ish

is the burning blade area just down that little snicket near the magram centaurs? those horsey blighters give me the willies.
was about to pop down that snicket and got wiped by a horde group coming outta there. so i went to bed. ahh laziness

I dont see any rewards or anything. I have done all but the uladman run and the part after and I hate waiting till i hit 40 before i can actualy get an Ulda group to finish. : \ Good XP at least.

this is the hardest part of the chain quest the best bet is to get a tank and healer to complet this quest. i did it at 41 and had a 48 warrior and 47 rogue with me and still died like 4 times.and the worst part is that they just keep coming till the clock runs out. good luck hoped that helped

I just did it as a 35 mage.&nbsp Just dont forget that the imp is alive and fighting even after you kill the locks lol.&nbsp I got it on first drop.

Is it possible to do it once again, i mean if the demon kills you can you then repeat the q by giving Tabetha a new orb?

I solo'd the demon with my lvl 37 Frost mage... and all i used was my Ice armor and Arcane intellect buff + 1 Mana Agate

ok as a lvl 36 mage this was probably one of the easiests quests. i killed the summoner in about 3 hits 2 were weak 100 hits. didnt even worry about his pet. right after he died thought i got attacked...lets just say good thing i had a potion. but then went back got the orb and it took me all of 2 mins.

Well, this quest leads to killing a lvl 40 guy at her house.....be ready, you've then 3 min for killing that beast:D ....good luck m8

This is what you have to do.

1. go to desolace and kill any of the summoners (sheep the summoner and then kill his pet)
2. get the orb.
3. go back to tabatha
4. she summons 40 elite (killed him with 37 fire mage)
5. if u die, abandon quest and talk to tabitha again. (no need to get another orb)
6. she will summon 40 elite demon again.
7. in case u are wondering pyroblast-fireball-frostnova-blink-pyroblast-scorch-fireblast-frostnova and one last pyro-scorch-fireblast killed him dead with 25% health left.

i didnt see a 40 elite i just killed a random warlock of the burning blade and it droped on the 1 guy i killed. it was around 52,73

Where is the zone this place is in im getting a bunch of coords from friends...but i dont know which zone is right.

I know this sounds noobish, but how exactly do you get to Desolace from the Alliance side? :-S

i was able to do this with my 37 fire mage with out been hit once just poly the warlock, frost nova, pyro then pyro the lock then use counterspell when he is using shadow bolt, use mana shield then pyro and fireball and fireblast and he dead...seems like a long battl ebut it only takes about 20 secs

Solo'd the lvl 40 elite Demon with a 37 fire mage with evocation, mana agate and a greater healing pot, and one heavy silk bandage!

its a lvl 40 elite demon, you have to kill, and its a bit hard at lvl 36 :s
i died, and im not sure if i can get another orb in desolace again, becuase after you have delivered it, then you loose it, does anyone know if you can keep on trying to kill that demon?

Just sheep the summoner, kill his imp, then kill the summoner. Drops every time. He is NOT elite.

Looking for her(TABATHA THE MAGE) can anyone point to the exact spot she is please i know the marsh but where in the marsh help please :)

For those who have a way to read them,Cosmos coords are 46,57.Its same demon as the warlock orb quest.And you can abandon and get again,as stated above.
Don't need another orb.

Everyone was spot on. I ganked the first Summoner in Mannaroc Village I saw (lvl 39) and it dropped. My Mage was lvl 35 at the time...pretty easy.
