Rudra Amberstill wants you to slay Vagash and bring his fang to her at the Ram ranch.

Description

We heard the cries in the middle of the night. Then this morning, sure enough, the herd was missing two rams. That dastardly beast known as Vagash has been preying on our livelihood. With most of King Magni's army off in distant lands fighting with the Alliance, there is no one to keep Vagash at bay.

Perhaps you are brave enough to seek out the beast and slay him. Bring me one of his fangs and I will reward you. Vagash lurks just above the ranch here, but be warned, he is deadly.

He is in a cave on the hill directly behind the building where the quest giver is.

When facing the building from the corral, look for a tree on the left side of building on the hill. you can climb up there. Or if you go back to the main road and head back down toward Iron Forge a little bit, there is a hidden path you can take up to the cave.

Vagash no longer does that frost breath attack. He now does a Frost Nova type of spell. Also, you don't need to go up the path to get to him. From the left side of the porch, facing the house, look slightly to your left. You'll see a small incline going up the hill. There is a tree there. Run up that part of the hill, behind the tree. Once you're past it, turn around and run up another incline and you'll be right at the cliffs edge where Vagash's cave is. This saves time from having to run around the mountain.

ok when you get the quest go directly up the mountain to the north.&nbsp Up there, there is a cave and in the cave it the guy you have to kill!

The path that goes up the hill and leads right to Vagash's cave is west of the ranch and is between the ranch and the Misty Pine Refuge.&nbsp If you get to the refuge, you've gone to far.&nbsp Just hug the mountains between the two and you will find it.

i solo'd this as a lvl 10 hunter in 2 tries.. technique to follow: send your pet in first and fire at a distance. when your pet finally dies, kite and go down the path, there you will meet a friendly lvl 30 guard who will take him out. probably the easiest method you will come across if you are a hunter or even warlock.

You have to scale the mountain a bit to get up to his cave which is almost directly behind where you get the quest. And he is still at 61(62), 47.

Not so tough doing this solo. Completed it the second time after dying.
I casted Corruption, Immolate then fear. While he ran, I casted Curse of Agony,Curse of Weakness then let my mana build back up. All the while he was running away, my imp was hitting him with Fire Bolt. After a few seconds, I'd start casting my shadow bolt. Once he got close enough, I started hitting him with my knife and shadow bolt until my health became dangerously low. I cast fear, and while he ran away I used my Healthstone, and drank a potion to get my health back up. (All the while, my IMP is still attacking him). When he got back I used nothing but Shadow Bolt, and my Knife like I would any other tougher beast. My health again started to get dangerously low at the same time has his. I casted fear again, and was able to kill him using Shadow Bolt as he was running away.

i found this when i was lvl 16 paladin alone. it isn't very tough..he is lvl 11 elite, so lvl 11+ there shouldnt&nbsp be much of a problem. you need to climb the rocks directly above the little hut near the quest giver.

Sent VW in to tank.&nbsp COA, Corruption, and Immolate while VW is attacking, then ShadowBolt to death.&nbsp Easiest 1000xp ever!

Not that hard of an elite.&nbsp I soloed him as a lvl 11 hunter with no help from a gaurd.&nbsp I just put my pet on him (ice claw bear), and shot him with some serpent stings, and a bunch of arcane shots.&nbsp Not too hard.

He's in the cave you can kind of see on the mini map behind the farm.&nbsp It's possible to climb up over the hill to where he is, but it's easy to just go around, you should be able to see a little path leading to it on the minimap.

Solo'd it as a lvl 11 hunter, my pet was 10. Just let your pet get a couple shot in it then start throwing bullets at him. Hes a tough one at lvl 11 but combined with my pet we did it.

Vagash is located ontop of the hill. If you go west of the ranch, hugging the mountains, you can find a path. He's a elite so bring a party member. Good reward.

This was pretty easy with a pet! I stood by the tree on the left side of the stable and sent my bear up to get him (level 11). I shot him from beside the tree and barely lost any health.

Easy but...i can't loot anything from him...theres something wrong with it...when i go back to the quest giver the item doesn't show up in the required items. It has a picture but no name or anything...anyone help?
