A New Plague

Apothecary Johaan in the town of Brill wants you to collect 5 Vials of Darkhound Blood.

Description

Lady Sylvanas has called upon the Royal Apothecary Society. The Dark Lady believes our knowledge coupled with the newfound magic will provide the key to Arthas's demise. She has challenged us to concoct a new plague, a plague deadlier than any ailment on Azeroth. This new disease will bring Arthas's Scourge Army to ruin.

My studies show that the blood of beasts might prove to be the key. Bring to me 5 vials of darkhound blood so I can test my theory.

Just about any Darkhound over level 5 may carry this blood and you do not have to venture far from the Johaan to find them.

The drop rate at 49,49 is awful! Like 2% or something, but i didn't pull myself together trying to find another place, but it took me around an hour...

Just find the blue demon in trisifal glade and kill them..... You will find the darkhound blood from them! Good luck with your quest! :)

Just go a direction from Brill and u will see
Decerpit Darkhounds.. just kill them :)

59,55 is a much better location, Go for Decrepit Darkhound which have the highest drop rate of 30% compared to Cursed or Ravenous Darkhounds which have a 18% & 1% drop rate.

Located everywhere in Silverpine. One of the easiest quests. Good potion reward too.

Ya, very easy to find. I did The Haunted Mills (http://classicdb.ch/?quest=362) continued down the path and got all of them in a few mins coords = 46,46 ish.
