Speak with Ragged John to learn of Marshal Windsor's fate and return to Marshal Maxwell when you have completed this task.

You recall Marshal Maxwell telling you to search for him in a cave to the north.

Description

What? You thought you were the first? How many soldiers must we lose before Stormwind acts?

We had accumulated enormous amounts of intelligence pertaining to the Blackrock menace before we lost our commanding officer, Marshal Windsor. With Marshal Windsor went all of our precious information.

What we need is that documentation. Speak with Ragged John, <name>. He was with Windsor when they were attacked by a Blackrock raiding party. He was last seen in a cave to the north.

66,24 are the coords of the cave to the north.

He's not actually in the cave, he's outside, next to the boiling pot of water and the tent. He also doesn't have a question mark over him, you have to speak to him to start the convo.

Hard to find if you've never been there.

Coordinates are: Burning Steppes (65, 23) using Titan Panel [Location].

<NB: The upper left corner of a zone has coords 0,0 and the lower right has 100,100.>

The sought loc is hardup against the northern mountain wall and way east of Blackrock Spire.

Its on a bearing of NNW from the alliance FP.

OR

From Searing Gorge: run thru blackrock spire to the Burning steps and proceed south till u hit the main road. Then head east till u get to a northerly turn.&nbsp Take it.&nbsp Avoiding agro as much as possible head north and bear the slighest bit to the east.

The place u seek is the Hordie&nbsp FP.&nbsp It is north of some lava flows resemmbling a coat hanger and of the ruins of Thaurssan.

There u will find some alliance friendlies and some hordie friendlies with a horde flight master.

John Boy is hiding quietly amoungst them and has NO yellow question mark.&nbsp He also has no quest completion buttons.&nbsp Just hit on his conversation icon till he quits.

The location is Flame Crest if you don't want coordinates. The same place as the horde flight path, but it is safe for alliance.

just ask him all of the question and he'll tell you the whole story. when he is just turn the quest in. make sure you watch you back, horde flight plan is right there.

At this point I don't see it on my map and I know that the alliance safe spot never shows up on the map so I need some help in find this Flame Crest.&nbsp I have already been in two caves in the north and nothing and if people can make things clearer with location without coordinates it will help others in the future ..

You have to take qest from elf in Alliance base in Burning steps - Dragonkin menace. After foing this, he will send you to Magister Solomon in Redrige. And then magister will send you to Bolvar in SW keep. Thats the begining of "Onyxia qest" - The great masquerade
