Description

<name>, I'm finally ready for real samples of dragon eggs! Here, take this collectronic module. It's designed to extract a dragon egg and prepare it for transport. Go back to the Rookery and use the module to collect eggs.

And don't forget to freeze them first, or they might hatch before you can collect them!

When you have enough eggs, bring them to me!

To clarify:
  1. This quest is part of a series. It begins with (Quest #4726) and the step immediately before this one is (Quest #4734). It continues with (Quest #5522).
  2. When you complete Egg Freezing, you will receive an (Item #12144). Make sure you have that with you when you go into UBRS. Use the Eggscilloscope on the eggs first and then collect them with the Collectronic Module.
  3. You can do Egg Freezing and Egg Collection in the same instance, but you will need to leave to turn in Freezing to (NPC #10267) and then pick up Collection.

Both this part and the last part of the quest are easy, all you have to do is freeze the egg get close (not too close) and use the other item. Although it did take like 1 or 2 mins to collect the 8 eggs. You don't click on the eggs, just use the devices in your backpack.

The eggs required for this quest are in the Rookery in Upper Blackrock Spire (UBRS). Simply freeze the eggs and slowly approach them and use the device provided by the quest to capture them. Getting to the eggs, however, does in fact require a raid. If your raid does not want to do your quest, just wait until they finish up and head back down to the Rookery and complete it yourself.

if your raid doesn't want to bother with your quest while they're in the rookery, just wait until you've killed General Drakkisath and finished the run.&nbsp from there you can jump straight down to the rookery, and as long as you don't pop any whelps, you should be able to finish the quest solo.

You don't have to freeze them first, i did the freeze quest, then got the collector device, you just have to inch into range of the Collector without going near a cluster of eggs, got my 8 without popping any whelps at all.

As you can see this quest is categorized as (Raid), which means it's a 15 member raid quest in Upper BRS, though the only hard part of the quest is reaching the rookery. After that the whelps that you may confront are non-elite and can be easily dominated with 3 members.

I completed this quest and the turn in. Now I'm on the next step that takes me to Scholo. My problem? Tinkee left me with the Eggscilloscope! Can I safely delete the item now? I'm a little low on bag space.

It would help you clear the eggs from the Rookery to get to the Father Flame stone, thus paving the way for priests to more easily get their devout shoulders.
