Travel north of Auberdine to the first waterfall along the Cliffspring River and draw a sample from the pool there.

Return to Thundris Windweaver in Auberdine with the Cliffspring River Sample.

Description

The Cliffspring River has begun turning foul and corrupted. It empties into the Mist's Edge, and I fear the wash will affect Auberdine soon. I suspect the Blackwood furbolgs up-river are the cause of the taint, but I also suspect that they aren't the true root of it.

Take this sampling tube and go to the mouth of the river to our north. Proceed inland to the first waterfall and draw a sample from the pool there. You'll see a bridge overhead. Once you have a sample, return to me in Auberdine.

There are two waterfalls in this river.&nbsp One that is next to the ocean and another that is farther inland.&nbsp You want to go to the waterfall that is near the ocean to get the sample of water.

By "mouth" they mean the part of the river that opens to the sea.

Fill sampling tube by actually swimming into the waterfall (below the bridge).

Do NOT confuse this quest with the quest "The Principal Source" (Druid quest). THAT sampler must be filled not at the Seaside, but at the landside part of the river, near the hills mountains.

Everyone seems to get the waterfalls confused. Follow the path to the Cliffspring River, and jump off the bridge you pass over. That's the waterfall you want, not the one near the Furbolg camp.

Head north from Auberdine along the road until you come to the bridge at the Cliffspring River at 50,24. Jump off the bridge towards the east and you should land right before the waterfall. Swim up to it and click on your vial.

I've checked my quest, it's "The Cliffspring River" allright, I'm at the bottom of the first waterfall from the coast, and I see the bridge overhead just as it sais in the quest.

I've swum around a bit, tried different locations near the waterfall and pool, but it keeps saying "Requires Cliffspring Falls Cave Mouth" ...

then I started thinking, and noticed I had TWO vials in my bags :D

Be sure to use the right one for this quest (the little small black one, not the blue one).

Also, you need to actually swim in the stream of the waterfall to fill it.

Actually, when you jump off the bridge you'll be facing south. The exact coords I was able to fill my sampling tube at was 50.8, 25.7. Once filled, turn around and head south towards the beach. Once on the beach its a simple matter to get back up to the road.

Just a little bit west of the bridge (around 48,25) a Rabid Thistle Bear came out to play so I was able to capture him for "The Plagued lands" quest. Just a nice bonus.

The first time I did this it took me forever to find.&nbsp &nbsp The right pool is at the bottom of the waterfall, very near to the ocean. I filled my vial at 50,25.

Anybody can help me? None of the phial filling quests ain't workin for me. Not in Teldrassil, not in Darkshore. Are there lots of these filling quests? If yes, then I ain't gonna finish this game never. Somebody please help. Any addons or something for this?

This isn't tough - you just have to avoid the higher level mobs if you are of a lower level. I died a couple times getting there because I did this at 10 and most of the mobs in that area are 15ish, but it can be done.

You need to jump off the bridge, the one that lies on the road as you go north. This will be where the river dumps into the ocean. Down in THIS pool is where you fill it, not up N where the Naga's are. This is for the quest the Druids get called The Principal Source. Not sure if anyone else recieves this quest.

To complete the quest you need to locate Cliffspring River Waterfall and use [item=12350] to draw a sample.
Hit the road out of Auberdine and move to the north passing by Bashal'aran. You will see a wooden bridge in few minutes.
The waterfall is just near the bridge, so you can jump down, approach and complete the quest task.

I'm Lv15 doing Classic. The only quest Thundris Windweaver seems to have for me is Tools Of The Highborne. Was this quest replaced in Classic?
