Battle of Hillsbrad

Kill 15 Hillsbrad Peasants and report back to Darthalia in Tarren Mill.
  •
Hillsbrad Peasant slain (15)

Description

Word of the attack on the northern farms has the townsfolk panicked. Most excellent.

Our Deathstalkers report peasants fleeing to the fields in southern Hillsbrad. The fools think they can hide in the orchards and escape their doom.

Prove them wrong, <name>. Return to Hillsbrad Fields and seek out the cowering peasants. Lay waste to them in the name of our Dark Lady.

Dismissed!

Make sure you stop and get the souveneirs of death quest too.&nbsp You'll be needing to collect skulls and they don't drop them very fast.&nbsp

You'd think there'd be one skull per peasant, but nooooo.&nbsp More like one skull per 3 humans killed.&nbsp Maybe I hit them too hard.

Be aware that the peasents run at about ~40% health and run very fast.

Prepare to get about 15 adds if they run into the council building.

Lvl 30 quest.

They are in the field at 34.46

I did this quest as a 23 Shaman, no problem, just use Frost Shock and lay a Earthbind Totem down so when they run they dont get away.

also, watch out for wildlife and the hillsbrad footmen, if they gang up on you, it can be bad for low levels, especially hunters, rogues, priests, and mages.

Most of them are found in the southern field but a few of them wander around the whole town.

These things r so hard.I hate that Armour thing they do it's REALLY hard to kill. These things stand side-by-side so watch ur back.I'd be atleast a lvl 27 like I am.I'm surprised lvl 30's r having trouble.Druids out there, use Entangling Roots when their health gets to orange.Works wonders ).

i did this q at lvl 22 warlock (without lvl 22 spells learned!) an quite easy... just pulled 'em out, one by one. there is always Curse of Recklessness to stop them fleeing away. just throw it when they get on cca 20% of life left.

For those of us who do not have stealth available, this is gonna be tough at level 25 and 26.&nbsp First off, you have to fight your way to where the pheasants are located then they agro in pairs.&nbsp Should you also agro a caster, you'll be battling both melee MOBs and casters.

I recommend that you bring at least another 23 to 26 level partner or wait until you are level 28 or higher.

Be safe out there!

EDIT:&nbsp I'm playing a level 25 Tauren Shaman while attempting this quest.

I saw a 27 shaman doing this yesterday. He was killing peasants, my first thought " Hey! That's not cool. " so I charged>hamstring>execute and he went down. I'm alliance of course :). But seriously, these quests must really suck for horde, hillsbrad fields are so close to SS.
