Mok'thardin's Enchantment

Far Seer Mok'thardin of Grom'gol needs Holy Spring Water. He also wants you to kill 10 Naga Explorers.
  •
Naga Explorer slain (10)
Holy Spring Water

Description

There is but one final reagent needed to complete the enchantment.

In the south, towards the western coast, high above the bluffs, lies a Holy Spring. This spring is the subject of great conflict amongst religious and mystical scholars. Every race in Azeroth claims that the spring waters were made divine for their people.

My final request of you: bring to me Holy Spring Water. Be warned. An expedition of naga explorers have advanced upon the spring. They will need to be dealt with as well.

I was very confused with this quest because nobody gives real cords or explains what to do.

First of all, the Holy Water you need to get is not a drop, and you don't need to fill anything.

Go to 27,59, just before the bridge there is a path. Follow the path all the way up until you see an arch that looks like you are heading in to ruins. When you enter, this place should be called Nek'mani Wellspring. You will see a bridge as soon as you enter this place. Kill the Naga that is in your way, cross the bridge, and click on the Wellspring located at 28,62.

I killed exactly 10 Naga just before I reached the well with the Holy Water.

Didn't see the rare elite when I was there. GL

The area you are looking for is northwest of Booty Bay. Coming from the ocean, it will be hard to miss, as the only mobs present are Naga Explorers. They are around level 43. You will likely kill more than the ten required just making your way up to the spring. In the area with the spring (looks like a fountain, have to cross a rope bridge to get to it), you might have to take on two naga at a time. Bring your pulling skills.

Note that once again, this area tends to be camped. Anyone know why level 50+ players have such an interest in farming naga?

You can double up this quest with the Akiris by the Bundle quest found near the mailbox in Booty Bay.

They drop clams that can drop golden pearls, and those are needed for +spell damage enchants.

Lord Sakrasis that's around there is not a rare elite, just a normal rare. So he's not harder than any other mob around.

When i got to the well, the well was protected by a lvl 45 Lord Sakrasis who also dropped a green item: Lord Sakrasis' Scepter.

BTW the well is a good drink. Use one and then pick another one up.

Its a silver dragon elite.
as lvl 42 rogue, I sapped him and got the holy water..
Since the quest was completed I tried him on. EASY.
4 sinister strikes then evicerate.

The only thing that was bad, was that when I got on my mount I saw a ally lvl 39 get the water.... I was a bit from him so couldn't stop it^^
But ofc, he died.

Reward for this quest is a little bit silly...after all the incredibly low drop rates on farming quests in the series, a reward that's only useful to a few classes (and not all that great even then) is kind of weak.&nbsp

Only reason to do this series is if you were going to grind anyway, and figured you'd grab some quest xp on the way.&nbsp

And whoever came up with this quest has a sick sense of humor.&nbsp u.u

After killing all the surrounding nagas, took lesser invisibility potion to get by the big guys guarding the bridge to the spring. got the spring water and jumped in the river, swam downstream, over a couple of waterfalls into the ocean and left.

Had a bit of trouble with this one, but no elite gaurding the spring. Just a bunch of 43-44 explorers. Only died once, that was right in front of the spring. Overall, not too difficult a quest.

Did this as a 44 Priest, put on shield, run up to him, fear, fill vial, jump down the waterfall, ride to gromgol. Just get ready to make an exit in case he resists the fear.

OK, silly question, but how am I supposed to fetch the water? I got there, and could not pick any up. I did not have a vial, jar or anything else in which to do so. Dropped the quest and reacquired it, and still nothing to hold the water in, so it wasn't that I had dumped it somewhere by accident.

I am a mage and walked through this. First poly the target, fireball, fireball, fireblast and then freeze them. Then fireball, fireball again and they should die.

The one guarding it was a level 45 lord, not elite however.

Is it worth doing all the quests just for a neck with +5 int 8 spirit? I'm a 34 warlock with the Senior Sergeant's Insignia, that is 20 wsg tokens and a bit of honor, and has +9 stamina and 4 spirit. It says level 40 and my level 30 neck seems about as good. I guess the getting the experience is good to level up, but it seems easier to do other quests.

Interesting. I did this last night, and there was no Elite mob guarding anything (euro server). There's a courtyard filled with Nagas (all lvl 43,44) but not Elite's. I easily pulled one by one to clear the path to the spring. Good exp @ lvl42. Make sure you pick up another quest that involves getting items from these Naga's (Akiris by the Bundle).

That's strange. I fought him directly, straight up, I was 44th and he was 45th. Lord something or other. (for those that don't believe me, he drops a rod, named after him. I still have it in my mailbox, I tried to sell it at the AH, but nobody bought it :)
It wasn't a particularly tough fight. Just like any of the explorers, he ran as soon as I dropped him to 25% health.

Maybe they made him easier in the 1.3 patch?

The spring is at 28,61. It's not guarded by an Elite mob, it's a Rare mob! Lord Sakrasis, he dropped a nice necklace - Talisman of the Naga Lord (+2 Strength, + 10 Stamina)

I found that I managed to stealth right up the bridge with my lvl42 rogue, as I got close the lvl47 elite - he detected me, and started to come toward me (agro), I pulled him away from the spring and then vanished/flashed... making sure I got behind where he was guarding as I did so. Once I was behind his guard post I simply stood behind him and sapped him whilst I filled up my vail with holy water. I then ran like a chicken who'd heard it's chasseur night! The elite will follow you and follow you... I found the best exit to be down the water falls.

There's a small error in the quest info above (apart from what's already been mentioned about having to kill nagas as well) The quest can be attained before level 44, I just got it at 40, after I completed the earlier part. No idea what the level to attain really is, but it's at least as low as 40.

The pool is at 28,62. I approached from the sea and this was easy and fun at lvl 42. Go up the path next to the two wood bridges and over the suspended bridge to the pool. It's a bit like a drinking water pool with water coming out of the hillside.
