Of Love and Family

Travel to island of Caer Darrow, in the south-central region of the Plaguelands, and look for any clues as to the whereabouts of the painting.

Description

When Taelan was a child, we would oft visit Caer Darrow on family excursions. On our last visit, an artist by the name of Renfray painted a portrait of us poised along the beachside. It is my fondest memory of both Taelan and Karandra. For it was at that moment, with my wife and son in my arms, that I felt a bond of love and family that I would never know again.

If this painting still exists, you must find it.

Travel to the ruined island of Caer Darrow and see if the painting or the artist remain.

Located at 65, 75

You recieve a "Haunted" debuff when you turn it in. This causes spirits to follow you (lvl 1, they do not aid you) and they taunt bosses in stratholme.

Quite amusing, in my humble opinion.

this quest is really easy to do, just go to 65,75 in western plaguelands, to the iland of scholomance. when youre close to 65,75 youll see a yellow dot in your map. go into the house, talk to the female, done

to clarify, you DO NOT need the spectral essence to see Artist Renfray.&nbsp just walk up to the house and she's there.

The ghost is not in the house!&nbsp I'm sure I'm at the right one, as mentioned by the excellent directions and the screenshot above.&nbsp However, the house is completely empty!&nbsp Someone mentioned a trinket that lets you see undead.&nbsp Perhaps I need that?&nbsp Where can I get it?&nbsp Help would be appreciated!

this quest just requires you go to scholo and talk to&nbsp the artist.. no need for the trinket to see undead. after you talk to the artist whe will tell you to go to strath to get teh actual painting... i'm not sure if this quest can be comleted in a raid group or not though.

Artist Renfray - or Miss Renfray is a ghost.&nbsp I have not fully completed the Scholo quests either (still have the Herald one).&nbsp So I'm not sure if any other Scholo quests need to be completed for this quest... it would seem like the answer is no.

So the easy part is going to Caer Darrow and finding a house with a roof on it (outside the Castle/Keep walls) and you should see the ghost of Renfray.

Then its off to Strath/SC - Westside.

Good thing about this part is that the moment you approach the house, you should see a yellow dot, the Ghost npc is Artist renfary.. good for those who dont have MODs that give co-ords...
I swam through and approach from the Doc side. the island is in Westren Plague lands and the house it self is litrally few steps away from Doc.. it has two huge cages next to it. you cant miss it.

Idid this q solo at lvl 53
very easy you have to travel to nothdale (71,34)
you have to stand there in the mid and jump in the water, on the bottom you'll see a bleu thing&nbsp you have to pick it and go back.
