Retrieve the Sigil of Arathor and return it to Zengu in Hammerfall.

Description

Though they can barely be said to control Stromgarde, let alone the whole of Arathi Highlands, the human prince trots the remnants of his cavalry over the countryside. I can't understand why he does it, but who understands the way the humans think, hm?

Whatever his reasoning, more importantly, he has given one of the sigils to Lieutenant Valorcall, their cavalry leader. Locate him and bring his sigil back to me.

I am a 39 shaman and soloed this quest by having the 5 bodygards that wander around help me.&nbsp I saw the calvary and saw the 5 forsaken bodygaurds and started the brawl right in the middle of them i killed one and they killed one and i died but rezed right their and with the help of the 2 bodyguards left we took down Valorcall.&nbsp It was pretty awesome.

I don't know if anyone else has been having this problem, but I couldn't loot this guy if I killed him inside strom. I kept getting "you don't have permission to loot this corpse".

If you kill him on the road that runs past Strom he'll be lootable. Not the path that leads up to Strom, but the road that runs past it.

The Cavalery Walks Between The alliance outpost to Stromgarde Keep and actually enter there.

The easiest way to find them is to Camp up at the entrance to stromgarde that ajoins to the road.

Give it 5 mins and theres yours for the gutting.

He roams the way between Refuge Pointe and Stromgarde. Pretty easy if you sap him and kill guards first. (42 rogue,35 priest)

confirmed, you have to wait till hes on the road that connects to the road leading to stromguarde in order to be able to loot him. even relogging didnt work for me when i killed him any sooner.

I had a hard time finding anyone to help with this quest. He walks a path from Stromgarde & Dabyrie's Farmstead with 2 other elite types (lvl 36 I think). See links above for Sigil of Arathor item for path he walks. I got lucky while looking for him solo. His group came across the Horde courier group walking towards Hillsbrad. When they started fighting each other, I attacked Lt Valorcall. Item dropped and then helped the courier group kill the other two.

Ok, I just had a conversation with a GM regarding Valorcall...

He said to kill the bodyguards first, then kill Valorcall, OR you can wait for one of the bodyguard's body's to disappear in order to loot Valorcall.

Honestly, I don't know if either of these options will work. I killed Valorcall on the road to Stromgarde, logged out and back in and was able to loot the body. /shrug

arathor is a 42GE with 2 37GE's with him. he wanders the road from 26,50 to 53,41.

i solo'd this as a 44 warlock, using the void as a tank, healing him and killing the 2 37GEs first and then taking out the 42GE.

With a little practice, a rogue can distract Valorcall away from his cronies. I was able to single him out at 42, and he was no challenge whatsoever.

Soloed as a L43 shaman - watch out he heals up and his goons have got sprint. As previous poster said you can wait for the fight that occurs between the horseman and the horde just outside stromgarde on the T section of the road.

I solo'd this as a level 44 subtlety rogue. The reason it has to be subtlety is because you need to have learned the skill that lets you return to Stealth after you sap. I think that level 41+ like me can solo it.

1. Sap one of the level 36 elite guards. The other two should carry on walking. The reason you can't sap the captain first is because the guards will wait for him.

2. Let the captain and other guard go to a non-aggroing distance and kill the guard you sapped.

3. Do the same with the other guard level 36 elite guard.

4. Eventually, there will just be the captain left, so you can unleash all the hell you want onto him. He drops the Sigil of Arathor.

The way I soloed this as a lvl 43 warlock was by just following valorcall and his crew till they were near a horde group of NPCs(valorcall does patrol area outside castle too). I then aimed at valorcall and did some instant spell on him and pulled him to the horde NPC's. It was 4 hordes vs 3 alliance so I think you know who won. Just keep doing good damage to valorcall himself and pull by targetting him first, Im not sure if youyll get to loot him or not if you dont hit valor first.

Still bugged as of today. Unable to loot, or difficult looting at best. To confirm what was said above, killing the guards first, wait a few then kill valorcall. Let one guard despawn then loot valorcall.

I had the same problem killed the guys but was unable to loot the bodys. So i logging out an right back in and was able to loot the bodys.
