If your a protection specced, I would roll with the chest piece because the shield is good yes, but you can use Aegis of Scarlet Commander at 39 so the shield is almost pointless.

For a totaly all elite mob Quest that takes you 4 levels to solo the rewards, even if you could equip them, are so not worth the effort involved..

They should at least be usable items for all classes not just mail and shield users..

This quest line is lot more fun with the patch 2.3 changes.

New quest experience: 6000 at lvl 41.

hard on my cat though...

lvl 44 Orc hunter, took the advice above, just ran straight at the tomb.&nbsp 2 stops on the way to feign death (first at midpoint on the bridge).&nbsp Let my pet distract the mobs.&nbsp Got out of pet range once so no revive needed.&nbsp 2nd Stop, 1/2 way down stairwell to crypt.&nbsp Revived pet.&nbsp Use eyes of the beast to aggro the 3 guards in a corner then ran the hunter to retrieve the item.&nbsp One more feign death at stairwell, then sprint to bridge.&nbsp Jump and bail.&nbsp zero kill XP.&nbsp But the glory of soloing...priceless.

I solo'd this quest as a 45 hunter in about 20 minutes.&nbsp Went in through the hole in the wall to the right of the main entrance, mounted my wolf and rode to the back corner of the graveyard.&nbsp The guards gave up the chase as I got all the way in the corner.&nbsp Had to kill one mob outside the crypt.&nbsp The three inside are far enough apart that you can aggro them separately.&nbsp They do run when they are low on health, so be sure to stop them in case they run toward another mob.

I agree that the material rewards are junk but the 4K+ xp was worth the 20 minutes it took.

Not a bad quest series for xp. did the whole thing solo. 43-44 priest.&nbsp good if your building darkspears rep. gotta have that raptor!

/agree the rewards are poo though. should be usable and or blue for hte effort but w/e cant expect them to start being nice to casters now.

For this being an all elite mob Quest and taking like 4 levels to solo the rewards even if you could use them aren't worth the time and effort to do the Quest series..

I spent more on potions, poisons and repairs than the highest reward sold for..

I got better drops off the mobs you had to kill to do the quest, none that I could use but at least they were BOE and could be sold on the AH..

Unless you need Darkspear Troll faction which wasn't all that great eather save time and take a pass on this Quest series..

Blizz really needs to learn how to make appropriate rewards for these involved quest chains. These rewards are worse than thestuff my warrior had at level 30.

Given you are farming elites for this quest, I would have at least expected blues as rewards.
