Behind the chapel.. down the tomb.. kill 3 guys.. and retrieve Trol'kalar (a sword) from the tomb of Trollbane.. its simble.. a great catafalque in the back of the room.&nbsp

freakin badass. 46 rogue, stealthed inside, sapped the guy close to the coffin, immediately blinded the other guy who got aggroed, ran over and opened the thing, then just clicked complete like crazy. Then here's the fun part, I nail my sprint hotkey and fly outta there with a huge train of soldiers on my tail, leap over the bridge and I'm gone :-)

If you, like me group, are too lazy to fight the same mobs again from the previous quest in the chain, here's a neat corpse run trick, that works especially well for this place.

1) Have all party members buff up right before you engage the mobs. Damage absorbing spells are especially crucial.
2) Run in! Keep running until you are across the bridge. If your party begins to run low on health mages should use frost nova and other classes instacast earthbinding abilities. (I'm playing a mage, so I don't know about any other classes skills)
3) When you cross the bridge, turn left. When you die, make sure you do so with you corpse as close to the fence as possible!
4) When you go to revive your corpse instead of turning left after the bridge, turn right and run around the house there, to the other side of the fence at which you died.
5) Ress yourself and finish the quest.

This may not be that much faster, but my group had been doing this long series of quest for 4 hours and we didn't want to kill the same mobs again. Also, instead of having to fight 25+ mobs, there are only 1-3 + the 3 defenders, which by the way can be solo pulled.

do we hav eto kill the 3 guys in there or do we have to just plant something?

i did it as a 41 rogue
stealthed all the way into the crypt
when i got inside i used distract to get behind the coffin
i made sure my vanish and blind were ready to use
i first used sap on the guy right in front of the coffin then if the guy from the left came i used blind on him and if (didnt happen to me) guy on the right comes use vanish and click the crypt and hopefully you get it in time

The three cryptkeepers are tough, but you can pull and fight them one at a time.&nbsp Easier than the previous quest, actually.&nbsp Unlike the other mobs in the area, they will run when they hit about 20% health, so hamstring or something is good.

Solo'd as 37 hunter

had to die a few times to get in the place
ressurected and sent pet in to get agro,
quickly got the quest done, died again, then resurrected and hearthstoned out!

Just mount up and run all the way back to the Crypt and around the corner to the left. The guys will not follow you forever. They give up. All 3 Caretakers can be pulled one at a time. No spawn at the crypt either. Just be sure you keep your hearth at Arathi for the turn in Quest.

just do as the others said pull em one at a time with lightning or earth shock ss+es youll do fine

Yeah just do a right when at chapel, can kill caretakers 1 by 1, just be careful cuz they run, then click on the tomb. What i dont understand is why u don't get the sword as a rewars, just some sucky mail or shield.

solo'd in about one minute. (Lvl 41 mage). Used the hole to the right of the gate to skip through part of the alliance area and ran past the guards with ice armor and mana shield up, blinking whenever possible.
When I entered the tomb, I used Frost Nova to keep the mobs away from me while I finished the quest, then I just ran out.
Only had to kill one pesky mob that wouldn't stop following me.

To take the prize, you have to get by these 3 lvl 41 cloth wearing melee guys. They can be pulled apart from one another and hove no special abilities except for running

I solo'd this as a 42 rogue, the damn caretakers kept parrying my blind (gg bliz).

So I took the corner caretaker, killed him, then restealthed, sap'd the one near the tomb after i distracted the third so he was looking away, looted the tomb and HS'd my undead butt out of there -)

Here's how i soloed as 46 loc for those who have no group or cant find one. (Obviuosly only pertains to other loc's)
Mount up and turn right BEFORE entering Strom and ride a short way round till you see hole in wall.
Cont' riding and jump in and turn left, cross bridge and veer right once over bridge entering area BEHIND chapel containing Prince Galen Trollbane. All the mobs that followed me i was able to lose in that small area behind chapel by hiding behind the crypt with Trol'Kalar in it. Now just use VW to agro all 3 guys down in crypt while you get Trol'Kalar then run straight out. i died running out but used SS to rez and cont' running and bailed over bridge they cant follow quest complete hand in

anyone done this? i can't find the chappel

Pretty easy to get there ...

When you enter the stromgarde keep, go right.
there you'll pass 2 defenders that you'll have to kill.
After that follow the path to the right and then just keep following it. After you cross a little bridge that you can see when you first enter stromgarde you'll see the chapel

It's the crypt behind were you killed Prince Galen Trollbane.

Just like There said: it's a crypt behind where you killed the prince. To the right you will see an alliance trainer you can kill (without getting PvP) just when you see someone is about to talk to him and laugh when you see him jump up and around helplessly. You will also see a gate with two guards and more guards on the other side of the passage. Then the crypt dead ahead. Go down, and it's there.

i remember finding the tomb with my cousin and friends, but haven't been to the chapel...i suppose i just didn't notice it was a chapel next to me...

OK, you go to the front of the building where you killed prince galen.

There's the two pairs of guards on either end of the bridge, the guard on the left side of the courtyard, and the two guards & the ally merchant on the right side of the courtyard. You should've seen them all when you were going to kill Galen anyway.

The pairs of bridge guards are double pulls, all the rest are single pulls & you can ignore the tailor (he's PVP flagged anyway nowadays).

Take the right hand path. You'll see one guard at the end of a vine covered walkway thingy.

Go into the crypt. There are 3x 41 elite crypt caretakers. We single pulled one, but they run when on low health so we ended up fighting the other two simultaneously immediately afterwards. Then just use the crypt, accept the next quest & run back to hammerfall to hand it in. Went through fast enough that we didn't have to worry about respawns so we just ran out clean & jumped off the bridge.

Did this, the quest before it (galen) & the follow on with a 39 resto shammie (me) & a 45 rogue. This leg of the quest chain is significantly easier than galen, but caution is still sensible.

There are 3 caretakers around tomb just kill them and that's that. They are nice to kill since you get around 500 exp / kill for each of caretaker.

lvl 41 Warrior, If you don't mind corpse running just Mount in 3 times get across the bridge its on the right all the way in the back... stand on the stairs when you res Kill the 3 and you have the room to your self...
Other wise Kill them one by one after the bridge However is a 45, he will make you PVP. Careful. I did it beat him and some Play came in and killed me, so after i corpse ran back and made it near the door to go down in the tomb, there are 2 39 or 40s there as well... if you corpse run in Stone out and then go turn it in in Hammer fall... bring healing potions... I used 4 Superiors, but fought 2 and 3 guys at a time, Agro Magnet...

Don't know whats up with all this corpse running, looking at gates of Stromgarde look to the right and follow the cliff around and you will find a hole in the wall. Your basicly right at the bridge.. clear across the bridge then your good to go, just solo'd as a 39 warrior.

There is a troll cloth quartermaster. He is in Org near the First Aid trainer.

Believe it or not, I was able to solo this one as a 39 Warrior. Took some special tricks, however, that probably were not intended to be used this way. I did the corpse run trick all the way down into the tomb, using piercing howl on every guard who came near. Then when I retrieved my corpse in the crypt stairway, I bandaged up and dashed into the burial chamber. When the keepers attacked me, I used Intimidating Shout which feared them all for 8 seconds, just long enough for me to action the tomb, and complete the quest. I then was able to grab the new quest right before I died. At that point, I simply resurrected at the Graveyard and ran back to Hammerfall to finish the chain.

Simply shameful, how easy it was.
