Confront Yeh'kinya

Description

My delvings into the Mosh'aru Tablets bear grim news, <name>. Hakkar's true form, the god himself, can be born again through the very egg into which you captured him. Yeh'kinya told you it was to contain his evil, but it is to recreate it! The troll has led you astray!

Go to Yeh'kinya and demand the egg from him. Pray that it is not too late to stop Hakkar's return!

This is part of a long chain quest designed to familiarize you with Zul'Gurub and the Zandalar Tribe. Much of the rewards are decent for their level. The Faded Hakkari Cloak is only slightly worse than everyone's favorite Hide of the Wild. Definitely a worthwhile chain for someone that doesn't want to shell out for the Hide.

Yeah, it sucks, you have to do these quests first:

Screecher Spirits
The Prophecy of Mosh'aru
The Ancient Egg
The God Hakkar
The Lost Tablets of Mosh'aru

After that, talk to Ironwhatever in Tanaris and get the quest "Confront Yeh'kinya", talk to Yeh'whatever and get the cloak.

the really nice thing is all the xp you get from doing this chain. gnuuj counted it up and it came to 41700. i dont know about you guys, but im lvling an alt, and this chain should help a great deal. its a rogue, so i would be doing these instances anyway (i dont run LBRS on my paladin).
if my memory serves me correctly, the ST part of this gives avenguard helm, lightforce dagger, and some cloth item. my paladin wore that helm until i got lightforge, so it is worth the time, and that dagger is the only one i know of to replace my coldrage dagger from RFD for a good while. ZF might drop one somewhere, but i have yet to see it(barman shanker = pain in the ass. DOTs suck for my play style)

to wrap up a post im sure has started rambling and is probably bugging you by now, i think this chain is a very nice one to do for someone trying to lvl and get decent gear, especially at the same time

Does anyone know why this quest is in the quest log as a raid quest? Also on some of the websites that tell you what end-game content there is available to you this part comes under Zul'Gurub. Ever so slightly weird.

Seargents cloak has 17 sta, which give 100 more health than this one initially. That would mean by fighting for 2.5 minutes regenerates equal amount of health which isn't rare at all. Also it has strength on it which provides additional block power instead of armor. I would suspect they are pretty much the same?

Defeating Hakkar in ZG gives you an item which you can start a quest with to turn in to the STV trolls.

Anyone want to share what this encounter is actually like? I gather that when you confront him and demand his precious Egg, he doesn't just invite you in for tea - but what DOES happen? What makes one scrawny Troll the target of a raid?

After you talk to Yeh'kinya, go back and talk to Prospector Ironboot who will have a new quest for you, the one Sonofdruss posted.
